  • TOM PETTY & GEORGE HARRISON @2:34-2:54 FTW!!

  • Jeff's voice and singing is not at its best in that song. I don't know why.

  • Great song and video. Did not make top 10 in Australia back in 1990. It should have!

JEFF LYNNE = SONG WRITING GENIUS

  • I'm not a musician or a songwriter, I don't know about the mechanics or maths behind writing a song. I do know that this song makes me smile tho.

  • Would've been a massive hit....if it had come out about 6 or 7 years earlier. Musicians are unlike actors as their material gets passed over pretty quickly once they turn 40...unless of course you're Madonna. :(

  • Armchair Theatre was a really good album and I loved this song. Listening to again now i remember exactly why...

  • Great song from Jeff.

  • Well that was fun!

  • ever hear the Idle Race? Jeff's band from the 60's fucking great shit son.

  • idle race did a kewl song called "days of broken arrowns" it's on the "nuggets" collection of sixties garage and psychedelica.

  • @ERIELACKU34CH They did a song that, I believe, would stand on it's own, if released today. Look up- The Idle Race - A Better Life (The Weatherman Knows)

    Beauty presented as sound.

  • Great video, i really enjoy hearing this song.

  • this rocks
