I would venture to say it's probably because Microsoft is an extremely evil corporation that makes every effort to snuff competition and technological innovation at every turn and they copy everything from other operating systems instead of making anything of their own. This plus they charge twice as much money in Europe for their software. That's about $600 for vista in UK when it was released. Perhaps he worked for one of those companies that were crushed by the Microsoft marketing machine.

And yes people do mistakes, but look on Linux..people dont get money for making software, MS pays alot..ironically, the OSS is in much better quality than MS programs and OS. And to my first software, windows was bad, so I changet it. A lot of MS people are saying Linux is **** etc., and they hadnt tested it. So test Linux, and you will be Glad for that choice, it is really worth trying it.

Yes, monopolizing a whole nations market is a business strategy and certainly Microsoft isn't solely to blame for the non-competitive consumer market that now inflicts Hungary. But the fact that Microsoft knows this is a poor nation and can exercise special privileges based on their abundance of riches and not on "competitive" software is pure evil. The US gov't would not stand for this type of practice. But I agree, the Hungarian gov't does not know what's best for their people, obviously.
