My New Toy - HTC Touch Pro2

Hey there, I just wanted to say that I love WinMobile phones too, So far I have only tried the Htc Elf, Im from Venezuela and right now we have a blackberry fever here so BBs are pretty much the only phone you see on the streets. But I fell inlove with HTC after trying the ELF and I think soon Im gonna get me a Touch Pro 2, Im gonna get a job or something to get it cuz I just cant wait! :) I know Im posting this like 2 years later, but this phone is just getting to my country :) bye!

I just got this phone and it's WAYYYYYY better than Iphone. Just being able to use Skyfire so I can watch Hulu is awesome. Not to mention, flash and java actually is supported unlike Apple's POS. I seriously don't know why ppl like the Iphone so much. People got so excited about the recent SMS update...yea I only had that years ago on my Nokia phone. Yawn. My only complaint about the phone is that it's a bit big to be comfortable in my pocket. Then again, this thing is practically a mini laptop.

Glad you gotten the HTC touch Pro 2 has you will like this phone. I have one and It is twice way better than the Crappy Iphone. Remember Iphone can't open many applications at once which only opens one at a time haha that why Iphone is a Junk and Windows Mobile is more better which it can open many application at once.

How well dose the touch screen work? Is it a pressure screen where you can use a stylus and have to press hard on the screen. Or is it like the iphone and htc g1 where you cant use a stylus and you dont have to add much pressure to touch something on the screen..

Like any WinMo devices, you can use the stylus. But touch screen phones have come a long way and HTC did well with their Touch Flo3D that you really don't need to use the stylus. Your finger strokes will work. Personally, the finger sensitivity is better than iPhone.

It gets quite complicated for noob.

Go to Start > All programs > File Explorer, copy the audio file into My Device > Windows folder.

Then, go to Settings tab > Sounds, click Advanced > Notifications tab, drop down menu to Messages : New text message and the audio file you want should be in the list.

Yes, the standard Outlook calendar is still there. The Touch Flo 3D has a new view on the calendar at the tabswhich includes weather update for the day. But once you click on the date, you get to manage your appointments in standard outlook appointments.
