we tried to get tickets but we couldn't ! just saw green day in new orleans on aug 7 2--9 and they did "the saints are coming" and said they'll only play it in new orleans! we go see u2 in october in houston. shame they skipped us!

its so crazy billie sings so soft these days he screamed your ears of from 1990 till 2000 and now he sings emotional,
its a shame bono always take over because he sings so overwhelming but they sound good together

what do you meaning by overwhelming? I think it is funny how the crowd goes crazy when Bono starts to sing haha. they are as singers, leave alone the bands (though I think U2 is TONS better than green day), not comparable Bono is much better.
You know what I think I think that Green day is to be the "new" U2 in what respects to fame and musical success, and U2 is going to be the new Rolling Stones under the same standard I just mention for Green Day, and perhaps some day even like the Beatles.

I remember watching this performance, & then the Saints home opener that followed, it was certainly a night to remember for the folks in New Orleans:-)
The healing is still in progress, but that night seemed to help matters in many ways:-)
