  • What an amazing drum solo.

  • Rape the Drum KIT

  • No love for that Reinert solo? FFS he just raped his kit.

  • @Tymiinator That isn't Reinert on the drums, it's Bill Bruford ;)

  • What is this this is No Prog Rock or Prog Metal

this sounds like 1975 Fusion Jazz

  • is that a reference to a Yes song I hear on the bass from 0:40 ~ 1:00?

  • @idontbelieveok sounds like "heart of the sunrise" from yes's album "Fragile"

  • One person dislikes Gordian Knot :(

  • Malone is quite obviously a Jacolyte.

  • Phenomenal? wtf? wht kind of a word is that?

  • This is phenomenal. Thank you for putting this up in here. Ohh, and thanks for the musical background. I'm just learning. Bach, no wonder I liked what I heard.

  • The intro is a tribute to Bach, being the notes A# (german B) A, C and H (English B).

  • @BlueGrot

A# and B are different notes.

  • @Eradicateify

Can't you freaking read? A# is GERMAN B. AMERICAN B FLAT.

  • The bass playing here is almost at the level of Victor Wooten! Holy crap! And the whole song was unbelievable! I think they are even better than Cynic. They should keep this project going for as long as possible.

  • Come on, "almost at the level of..."?!?

Sean Malone is as brilliant as it gets.

  • I should have known that by coming on a youtube video where there is a certain band being displayed, I would get a dissenting reply by an elitist of said band if I were to imply that any other band or member of a band was better than this band or a member within it. Sean Malone is brilliant, but he's not quite at the level of virtuosity that Victor reached, I think. It's possible that I could be proven wrong though, but Sean Malone is still top-of-the-line.

  • well..sean and victor is 2 very different bass players in my opinion...comparing them is just stupid:P

  • Point taken.

  • @scarter180 lol 2 years ago but i gotta put this out there. a lot of Victors slapping is REALLY bad. he pretty much just wails at his instrument with no compositional purpose at all. his other soioing is fantastic but to say that he is a virtuoso (like Jaco/ Manring/Berlin) is a bit much. to tell you the truth, i like Anthony Wellington better than Victor, but to say i dont like Victors music besides his slapping is a lie.

  • ese intro de bajo es una copa de heart of the sunrise de yes

  • un poquito

  • es un guiño creo... a veces uno no se da cuenta y cree que ha creado una idea, pero en realidad es algo que estaba en el subconciente

  • Maybe they were paying tribute to Yes, prog bands can do that you know. :P

  • @KingCrimson776 it's easy to do that when you have the drummer from the band....that's gotta be bill bruford on the kit

  • Malone is phenomenal.

  • yhep thats pritty damn good

  • The entire album is unbelievable!

  • This intro is unbelievable
