  • everything in japan is a little more expensive than the straight conversion so expect the 11,500 dollar conversion to be around 9-10 thousand dollars. Even then though....

  • i'd only buy this when it becomes mainstream given that standard 55 inch used to be over 8000$ and now it's only over 1500 :D

  • thumbs up for 3d youtube

  • These are TV's we need, now Holographic Technology needs to evolve for the ultimate immersion..

  • i cant afford new tv im still with dose good old crt tv and crt monitors

  • thumbs up if your watching this in 240p! :P

  • wat this even looks 3d on my screen :S

  • Isn't 55' a little small to actually show any significant difference from 1080p?

  • @TwoSkoopsOfNinja

1080p blu-ray movies on 47" HDTV doesn't look perfectly detailed. In my opinion 1080p isn't full hd. A 60"+ 4K tv would give perfect detail. Personally I'll be going for LG's 84" 4K tv. Now that will give you a true full high-definition experience.

  • Can the human Eye even see 4k ? Like i mean compared to out normal everyday 1080p because i read on Cnet that its pointless and we couldn't tell the difference between the two..

  • Why the fuck are you talking like that?

  • ...Giant 3DS in HD?

  • finally something good that offers 3D! the one bad thing for me with 3D is that all the glasses have tinted lenses...wtf! who wants to watch something with lenses that dull any colour?! without having to use the glasses sounds great! i knew Sony were developing one but had no idea it had come this far, i wanted to get myself a 3D soon but i might just hold out for something like this, any idea on price for the UK?

  • My Dream Smart TV:

    72"

    OLED

    4K

    3mm Bezel

Glasses-Free 3D with Multiple Picture Angles

And I'll it for $1,000 in 2015 when There are 8K Bezeless 100'' AMOLED QUAD CORE TV's with 1000 picture angles.

  • I want this

    just wish it was oled

  • so what happens to all my 1080p blu rays and my blu ray player and tv they are worthless

  • @spice1420 I'll pay you a 100 buck for them :)

  • Wow very good detail. Too bad most TV signals still broadcast in 480p/SD res. We need to get TV over on fiberoptc signals so that people can stream 4k or 8k res.

  • I swear I saw 3D through this youtube video. Givvvveee meeeeee nauuu!!!

  • @bin1127 Right?! I thought I was losing it for a second.

  • that resolution is so high you could probably sit about 2.0 meters away and use it as a computer monitor @ 55" it would be a very similar pixel pitch to a 27" 1080p monitor.

  • 900,000 yen= $11,580

Time to start working and stop playing Skyrim!

  • i can see in 200k beat that

  • WOW, nothing more to say really

  • They also have 8K :)

  • you had me at 4K

  • The future is NOW! Im writing Santa for 1 of these xD

  • QFHD is not true 4K

  • Waaaaay too expensive. You gonna have to be a millionaire to buy this.

  • @Demov12 Lol a millionaire? When HDTV first came out they we're about the same price 10k. 900k yen = 11850 USD. We when from 480p to 720p and the cost was tremendous. Now it's 1080p to 2160p with high-end models still ranging from 3-6k this is pretty cheap unless you have no job or work part time at mcdonalds.

  • @TruXByakuya Lmao at a TV that cost 3-6k being cheap for people working full-time, for people earning $100,000 per year 6k is 6% of their annual income no way I am spending 6% of my annual income on a TV. Anyone who purchases a TV for $11,000 is an idiot regardless of income level.

  • @ 0:19 The display now come with a ultra high def girl that smiles when you get home and she turns the TV on for you........MAN I feel so alone.......TT^ TT

  • though the 3d picture can only adjust to one person's view..."ok guys let's watch this awsome movie!! one at a time."

    ( I still find it very impressive :] )

  • Only $11,695.95? Wow! I've lost that amount in my sofa... Seriously, call me when it's under $1,169. I have to admit that it is cool because you're not going to be able to notice much more detail than 4K, they've done 3D correctly, and it's a big screen that might use less energy than plasma.

  • I wonder if this is the same screen Sega is using with Let's Go Island 3D or not

  • DECEMBER!!! :D :D:D:D

  • if we all got One . it could be like that Idiocracy movie

  • we are all going to get dry eyes

  • Yes.. very cool.. but um.. how much are 4k res cameras?

  • Dang it.. I want one...

  • Excellent product! It will be worth getting after a few years when other TV makers catch up and mass produce this type of untra high resolution, glasses free 3d tvs.

  • awesome. but it would cost me a fortune

  • this why japan suck...people die and they making tv lol

  • @NarutoRocks2011 so, with your logic, we can save life if we stop making tv ?

You should expose your genius solution to the Japanese government, also to your government when they face "terrorism", i am sure you can solve all the problems with this solution.

  • impressive...

  • omg.

  • 1:49 WOWWW!!! O.O

  • Why does viewing in 3D give people headaches? And have a warning that it could impare the optical development of children?

  • Price is about 12 ~13K USD...

  • Price?

  • now all we need is content, and by content i mean 3d porn.

  • Science!

  • dear santa...

  • @anakin808 Nobody cares

  • i think this is one of the best 3d tvs so far

  • Only Asians come up with this kind of stuff. ASIANS WILL RULE THE WORLD!!!

  • @Kilonoid Umm, I'm Asian...but wasn't the TV invented in America by some white guy?

  • @DitherSwitch I know, but the glasses free and very high resolution stuff is incredible, and what I mean by that is only we Asians are innovative enough to think of something like this!

  • Would be cool to use it with games if they could output 4K. 3D is still gimmicky even if you don't need glasses. Would rather have super high res stuff on a big screen.

  • the future is now!

  • I can even see it over this youtube video, sit me down in a best buy with this and I won't be leaving without one, meaning I'll buy it from amazon and wait at best buy till my order arrives.

  • they got the old narrator back!

  • i can now have a personal miku hatsune sweet!!

  • 11 734.2 us dollars ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME

  • @alvaro761b i hope the price will go down when it will be mass produced. cant wait to have one...

  • so the TV's watching me now - great

  • O.O

  • Japan always get the good shit first!

  • Finally a good enough reason to get a job.

  • @JonO387 Actually, I think the "3D is a fad" phrase is a fad.

  • @DitherSwitch Maybe, but I don't want it.
