  • Hey Willey great playing with Muddy. I met and worked as a stage hand with Muddy and Pinetop Perkins in 1979 at the Cool Pacific Jazz Festival. Five evenings after I got of work as an Air Force Policeman I carred Muddys stuff to rotating stages. He had a white harmonica player and second guitar. Pinetop was the most friendly one of them. He wanted me to take him to Pearl Harbor. : ) I wanted to be one of your friends but I don't know how you do that on youtube. Thanks for Amp info, Cary

  • @BoyCary Thats very cool to have met them guys, I would love to jam with them :-)

  • It’s really sad how guys, like this guy, with so much soul and skill go unrecognized this day in age….. yet, douchebags you can find around every corner.

    Nice playing.

  • Let it scream for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I know He digs it when your playing comes from your heart to his as a sacrifice of praise. God gave you this gift, Bro. Magnify him with those dirty blues!

  • woah! thats rly good playing ..... but u say u are playing for jesus...... blues is kinda the music of the devil :S just saying ... haha ;)

  • @allarinn It is only playing for the Devil if you play the guitar behind your head, in spandex, on a cold winter morning while levitating.................

  • Whoa Willy.... I was just searching the vids for Blues Jr samples and came upon this - simply awesome brother. I am looking for a low wattage amp for the P&W team that I'm as well as a decent blues amp. I know it does blues well but how is the clean headroom? I will mic it but can it get a good stage volume, enough for you to hear between amp and monitor? Keep jammin for the Lamb bro!!!!

  • for live, if you want real loud clean head room, the Blues Jr is not what your looking for.It is loud for a 15watt amp, It seems to be good for practice, studio work and small gigs.It is my favorite amp for these uses playing blues.I love the early breakup. If you want a louder and comparable amp, maybe try the Blues Deluxe.

  • @ephes6 I am on the P/W team also and will be exchanging my Hot Rod Deville for the Blues Jr NOS today. I went to check it out with the Music Minister yesterday and it seems to be the best fit. I'll let you know how it turns out, if you're interested...

  • @maigles Very cool, I hope it works out for ya! It is a likable amp :o)

  • OMG...... really good :) i want backing sound!

  • Willie, Sounding awesome as usual. Great tone, Great riffs, Great feel for the blues. Stay well brother and keep them coming.

  • Much thanks, thanks for your support :0)

  • great sound !! *****

  • Thank you :0)

  • Sweeeeeeet !!!!

  • The sound, volume, speaker size,size,weight,channels,saturation...etc.You can read specifications on their websites. A simple sum up if there is one,The PDB has a clean channel and a distortion one as well sports reverb and tremolo, 30watts decent for most uses(kinda heavy). The Blues jr has a fat button that is switchable and a master volume to set desired distortion plus reverb,15 watts very portable.Try before you buy :-) Thanks friend!

  • Well done. And I really appreciate your video lessons. My own (still rudimentary) playing took a big leap forward with them. Thanks.

  • I am so very glad that it helped, thanks for telling me. :-)

  • Great stuff, Boog! Are you running any kind of dirt pedal into the Jr? Fantastic tone!

  • G&L Guitar into Fender Blues Jr. NOS Amp. Very simple setup. Thanks!

  • Thanks Willy. I really enjoy your music. It is obvious your are playing for Jesus! I pastor a small church in Inverness Scotland. If you ever decide you want to visit Scotland, let me know, we would love to see you play a concert here as an outreach in this area, and also help with the church praise music during your visit. Just to play your music and then share your testimony of Jesus in between songs would be a great time! Let me know. Leo Rose. Inverness Bible Fellowship-A Calvary Chapel
