  • Tommys Bass playing was the true sound of MTB,everytime i listen to MTB, i crank the bass up!

  • Tommy was cool! I will never forget when I heard of his passing. sad sad day.

  • Can't help but wonder where they'd be now if all of them had lived...... Tommy was on the same floor that my grandpa was on in Spartanburg Regional (back then it might have been call Spartanburg Memorial, maybe..) after he wrecked his Jeep and was killed. The group never fully recovered from that, and nothing against Doug, but I don't think he should be touring under the same name, because it's not the same band, and hasn't been for 30 years now.

  • WOW! Never heard tommy B4

  • Dont get no better Jim Lad and Toy and Tommy Caldwell in Berdoo of all places...

  • Bless those fellers from Spartanburg for the excellent tunes !!

  • That was cool. I never really heard him talk before. He seemed like a very genuine person.

  • i had the pleasure of knowing tommy personally while serving with him while we were stationed together at sand bay. i was a nco then and i could check tommy out for the week end and we would drive to spartanburg. back then the band was called the toy factory...i still laugh when i remember tommy having the marine haircut until he got on stage...dont know where that wig came from...i was treated like family from everyone God bless them all...cpl ski

  • Wow do I miss you? Respecting your elders....one of my favorites as well...Toy wrote...AM I THE KIND OF MAN and he writes standing up for what is right! Brought a smile to my face. love you, Ab This was the MTB. - only MTB, I will never forget Toy and Tommy always stopping to talk or sign authographs . Absolutely, and I remember the members that walked pass those fans.! God bless him.

  • I'm a Marine as well.... Semper Fi brothers!!! Great video!!

  • He sounds like a real stand up dude,he did not let the fame and shit get to him, more people need to listen to the man and they might learn something. What a huge talent Toy and Tommy were.
