Dumb bastards. We see the results of the WWI and II today, the almost complete destruction of Western Civilization. This was the ultimate plan concocted by the "House of Rothschild" and the International Jew bankers. Germany was the bulwark for the West and had to be subdued. Hitler and the 3rd Reich fought valiantly but was overrun by the whole lot of brainwashed tools. The only winner as we see today is Communism, the Jews and the bankers. The people must now fight to save Europe and America.
I think it's a shame that so many people leave nasty comments about other countries/cultures. At the end of the day millions of PEOPLE went to war and a great deal of them never came home again. They were sent there by governments who acted for their own means. Most PEOPLE didn't have a choice, either fight or be shot as a coward. WW1 was one of the biggest, needless wastes of human life in history. They should never be forgotten no matter which country they hailed from. Brave men all of them !
@dannylamb456 yup. The Nazis were so useless that it took the combined efforts of the biggest and most industrialized nations on earth to defeat them.

Ginger means that Hitler was in the Army during World War I, at the rank of Corporal. He suffered mustard gas exposure from the British, but didn't die. As for SGT. York, who's name was Alvin York, he was an American infantryman who was from the hillbilly hills of Kentucky. Yet, he was a great marksman. Legend has it that York captured a whole battalion of German soldiers by himself when they ran out of ammunition.
While I agree with you on the aspect of how history ended up being for Hitler, I also wonder what would have happened had Hitler been accepted into the art schools in Vienna instead of him joining the Army. History would likely then call him Adolf Hitler the Artist.
@TY73Projex If he was accepted he would have not cared about politics would be my assumption. But with as volitale as Hitler is, I would gamble that he would have found something to complain about that would spark that anger in him.
True. Even Picasso was an angry painter with a rough attitude to those around him, especially family. Hitler had already lost so much by the time he entered the Army and had often translated his emotions into his art. After the Army, feeling betrayed by the V-treaty, he became even angrier, which allowed him to become quite the speaker at Bund and Beerhall meetings. I have often thought of Hitler as the classic idea behind the man who has reached a fork in the road.

@BarbedHook 1) England and France came to the United States from the beginning asking for supplies, we gave it to them ON CREDIT asshole. Which at the end of the war, they did not want to pay it back in a generous amount of time. That is how we got involved directly in the war, they sunk a troop transport carrying supplies to England to feed your starving asses because of Uboat blockades of supplies.
So fuck you, you should be greatful, we put food on the table for you you eurotrash.
Actually, in World War 1 we weren't nearly as reliant on US supplies as we were in World War 2. In fact, Britain was lending France and Russia money and supplies (Which we never got back off Russia). Most of our supplies came from colonies. Meanwhile, Germany was busy starving due to the Royal Navy blockade.
When US soldiers arrived in Europe they were using British and French weapons

@Azog150 The fact remains that what the European Allies took from the US in raw materials and food that was not paid back even by WW2. LaiseFaire had everything to do with that, that is why it was created. For some reason Europe thought just "being their friends" should be payment enough for the young USA. But when they failed to baby sit Germany properly and let a mad man take over the country and mobilize for war, they were SCREAMING for US help. I have a picture of Uncle Sam with
As for WW2, I agree without US supplies we would have had to negotiate peace with Germany (indeed, the German's would have been more then happy to be at peace with Britain- Britain got involved purely through its own choice).

If the US does not enter that war, England falls to the Nazis, that is fact. The Battle of Britian was the holding off of Germany, not the defeat. Ultimately, no US involvement, you have Nazis rounding up your Jews and taking them east to be exterminated.
@mrceebees14 You have a propaganda cartoon. Well done
I am not talking about WW2 but WW1 (You know, the war with the video in question). In WW1, US aid was very welcome, but no where near as necessary as WW2. Without US involvement in WW1 it may have dragged on another year, but the Royal Navy's blockade would have starved Germany to submission sooner or later.
@BarbedHook Who saved our skins? I assume you are French? We paid the French back in full for our independence. Called WW1 and WW2, as usual, the French had to be bailed out AGAIN from a beating at the hands of the Germans, eventhough the French had a larger army and well equipped army back then.
But weaponary doesn't mean squat when you are a PUSSY like the French are.

Then the Entente Great Britain and her Dominions, France, Russia, Italy and Serbia and in 1917 the United States entered the war. @lookgooddz Italy was in negotiations and had military agreements, but never formally entered into a binding alliance with all the central powers. they had a provisional alliance with German which was void if Britain was or could forseeably be an opponent. So they never truly were in teh Central POwers.
Australia, Canda, India, New Zealand, Rhodesia ,South Africa and all the other Commonwealth countries past and present are included under Britain and her Dominions.
To answer this question, you might read something called a book There are a few about WW1, I think
Italy was initially a member of the Triple Alliance, with Austria & Germany (just a way to thank France which had fought for Italy's independance). In 1915, when it appeared that the Central Powers wouldn't win the war, Italy joined the Entente.
Personally, not at all. I like Italy and I'm not surprised to observe cynicism in international affairs whatever the country, including mine. I just regret that Mussolini got so greedy in June 1940, instead of being wise like Franco, and attached Italy's fate with Hitler's.
There's John Keegans "First World War" that is definitely worth reading. The Great War was pathetic and chilling from a moral and economic standpoint, but it was also a watershed event politically for emerging countries in the East. Millions of scenes of misery and destruction laid waste not only to the land and as many lives, but also whisked away the optimism of our civilization and left an ache in its place.
The music demonstrates the attempt by countries to stir people up for war.
World war one wasnt senseless in the reasons why it was fought, but it is regretable it didnt have enough positive results. It was fought, because Germany had planned to basically take over Europe, if not militarily it would be the pre eminant power and form economic control/imperialism over much of europe and be the most powerful force on the continent. Germany's expansionism, military dictatorship had to be stopped and many veterans despite the horrible war felt proud they did their bit.
My grandfather lost a lung to gas in that war... yet seemed so fiercly proud of his service - hated Germans. In my honest opinion, WW1 was the most SENSELESS war ever fought - the only "bad" guy was the punk who shot the duke and his pregnant wife - & the governments of all countries so eager to go to war. WW1 was fought for nothing but man's stupidity or anger at life - can't figure that one out. Would like to have told my granpa that... but it was his war - his generation - his sacrifice.
@feurzug no one won anything... just germany got blammed for everything...which then caused a leader like hitler to rise up which then caused ww2...so ya ww1 was pointless
@TheCODlovr yes he did...he was a soldier for Austria ,,,he was a small little man who was known for hes speeches he would make in some trenches when some soldiers were afriad... he was also a victim of poison gas...which is why at the end of the war when he was losing he didnt even use gas because he knew the horrific affects of it ... but he did use gas for the gays jews mentals ect.
would seem to be supported by the evidence. why would the murder of 2 people justify the subsequent murder of millions? Only in the talmud is this justified, after all..the dead are only goy's.
I think that if the Germans had been smart and put off war until 1920 they could have won. They needed a slightly bigger navy and a treaty with Russia, even though it was secretly allied with France and the U.K.
No,no,no. The Germans wouldn't have occupied France and England. They planned something similar to the "Versailler Vertrag". Maybe a bit harsher than Versailles but similar. Look for "Septemberprogramm". There's an article about it on the English wikipedia.
Dude read some history books, Serbia didnt start war, Gavrilo Princip shoot Archduke Franc, he was member of Crna Ruka (organization who were fighting for free Bosnia, that was occupied by Austria in 1908). Axis were just looking for clue for war and that was it, Serbia wasnt involved in assasination, Serbia didnt want war in witch she will lose evry second man and approximately 30% of entire population. Read some history before you can say such things.
Lol dude from america say that other people are retards, look first at your home for retards and then say to someone else. And dont say things about history when you dont know them, learn first.
Austria declared war on Serbia, Russia was so backward they had to fully mobilize or not at all. German mobilized because Russia did. that's how it went. No premediataion, just the result of rigid mobilization schedules and beaurocratic needs and foolish Alliances.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
World War 1 was a draw.If Germany lost WW1 then how could Hitler have reversed the 1918 Armistace in the same train carraige in 1940?And the Kaiser died in 1941 just as German armies had overrun Western Europe.
richardhedditch261 u r an idiot if u think germany drew with us cos they lost both wars and hitler wasnt in power in 1918 he didnt come into power until the 2 August 1934 so how could he have reversed the 1918 Armistace in the same train carraige in 1940?
yes of course if guy who give this video don't cancel my msge like usually (???) i remains you Soldiers -> - Germany : 1.800.000 died, 4.200.000 wounted - France : 1.700.000 died, 4.000.000 wounded - UK : 960.000 died, 2.100.000 wounded (brits "Empire" whith Canada and Australia) - Russia : 1.700.000 died, 4.800.000 wounded - Austria-Hongry : 1.200.000 Died, 3.620.000 wounded - Italy : 650.000 died, 947.000 wounded etc... More informations /watch?v=FyMRKzWpkZ4
back in ww1, the US army had a hired army consisting of snipers as well as other weapons. they were called Pink Pony. They would prance around in the fields until they saw the enemy and then they tore some new assholes
what do you mean i can't understand what your trying to say!Ireland and the IRA supported Germany??Some did and lots more didn't.We liked the anti british side (usaully) but the facist thing, wasn't too big.
Alsatians, before war of 1870 didnt speak german but a germanik language (same origin as german as can be dutch or swedish, but not german). True than after 1918 french tried to stop this language, but german did same between the wars. And dont forget the shame nazis did here (not all germans i dont confuse) in WWII. To be a part of a country means to want it, not to speak a language ( we have 77 differents languages here in France).
I am alsacian and you said is false: in thirty years wars germany didnt exist.
And what is to be french? to feel french. I am french and dont want to be german (i love germany BTW). We are in a democracy, we can vote if we dont want to be a part of France. As an alsacian i feel shock by you 14zero.
...At that time, there are Germans and the German particularism. The then-Alsace also was it´s own culture area and it´s German speakers outlasted till the early 20th century. After the First World War the creeping acculturation began. Sorry, but these are the facts. By the way, the main reason for both nations to get Alsace was to have a natural border and a military gain. And till today speaking German is the most important thing in Germany - That´s their only national feeling. :P
Austria wanted a limited war with Serbia.Due to alliances other countries mobilised. Germany did not believe it could win because of the 2 fronts.Germany did win in the East.
The Tsar and Kaiser wished only to mobilise. The huge armies were out of central control and war ensued. They ultimately did engage in attrition and both sides inhibited diplomatic resolution. Generally it was a popular war ,except it went on for too long, bankrupting Britain and causing revolution and famine.
If i could start WW3 just by killing one individual i would. then maybe the house prices in the UK might come down and i could buy a really nice place...
Dude this war lasted for 4 years without any american help, same for 40-45 germany did this twice so dont blame america, blame germany if you wanne be a hater
For hundreds of years us white guys have been killing each other fighting stupid wars in Europe, If not for this we would be several hundred million more by now ,Instead we are in rapid demographic decline, R.I.P white guys.
absolutly true! since white people begon kolonising the world 500 years ago, people were allready starting to get mixed. at the end all people will have a skincolor like puertorican's :)
Sul Piave, sul Grappa e su tant'altri campi i nostri nonni hanno combattuto per l'unitá di tutt'Italia. Non dimentichiamolo mai anche in futuro! Eroi per sempre, viva L'Italia!
The war was the fault of France. They were imperialists. The attacked the german troops first in Lorraine. Without the americans we would have won the war, becuase 1917 the french army canceld and without the british attack at the Somme the german army would have won the battle at Verdun. LANG LEBE DER KAISER!
You Guys Were imperialists, we wanted Lorraine and Alsace back You had stolen those region from us. But The War is over. For a long time now, get over it.
Historical correction: Alsace (Elsass-Lothringen) was German land and "stolen" in the time of Thirty Years´ War. It cames back to the German Rich in 1971 after the Franco-German War. Till the 1960s only a minority of the population was French and only a little bit more than 10% were fluent in France. After the Second World War the Alsatians asked for a referendum but the French occupying power denied that. During the last decades France more and more adapted the Alsatians to the French culture.
I am Alsacian and I feel 100% French - Ich bin hundertprozent ein Franzose !! Alsace adhered enthusiastically to the French revolution, some of the best generals of the Revolution were from Alsace, and the Marseillaise was composed in Strasbourg. A nation is not based on race or language, but on the will to live together. If the Germans had organized a referendum in 1871, Alsace would have remained French !
the French army canceled in 1917, 1914: french victory of la Marne, 1916 french victory of Verdun, the americans came in july 1917 and enter in the fight 2 months later, at end :during the battle of the Somme half of Allied troops were French...
Idiot! Some people never learn. Come and visit langendorp where 24.000 german soldiers are buried on a surface as small as a tennis court. And by the way, the theory that they where buried in an upright position like if they were in a position of attention is bollocks. They where just stacked one above the other. At least, what was left of them. Little heaps of flesh and bones. This is not about who started what first. This is about the millions who lost there lives for nothing.

Fridomfry 2 years ago
you seem a tad resentful towards italy... still thinking of berlin 2006, are we?
forster123 2 years ago
Personally, not at all. I like Italy and I'm not surprised to observe cynicism in international affairs whatever the country, including mine. I just regret that Mussolini got so greedy in June 1940, instead of being wise like Franco, and attached Italy's fate with Hitler's.
Fridomfry 2 years ago

Germany's expansionism, military dictatorship had to be stopped and many veterans despite the horrible war felt proud they did their bit.
fp470 2 years ago
Germany didnt plan on taking over the world it held an alliance with Austria which in turn dragged them into the war

I agree the first world war was senseless
there was no point and no mean for war and it almost wiped out a hole generation

World War 1 was just a war to 'test' wich country was the best and the strongest.

Austria declared war on Serbia, Russia was so backward they had to fully mobilize or not at all. German mobilized because Russia did. that's how it went. No premediataion, just the result of rigid mobilization schedules and beaurocratic needs and foolish Alliances.

WW1 was a war just waiting to happen. IF it were not for the assassination of the archduke, some other event would have sparked it.

As an alsacian i feel shock by you 14zero.
sirupeuse 3 years ago
...At that time, there are Germans and the German particularism.

Sad.

The war was the fault of France. They were imperialists. The attacked the german troops first in Lorraine. Without the americans we would have won the war, becuase 1917 the french army canceld and without the british attack at the Somme the german army would have won the battle at Verdun. LANG LEBE DER KAISER!
Diwisie 4 years ago
You Guys Were imperialists, we wanted Lorraine and Alsace back You had stolen those region from us. But The War is over. For a long time now, get over it.
kamino266 4 years ago
Historical correction: Alsace (Elsass-Lothringen) was German land and "stolen" in the time of Thirty Years´ War. It cames back to the German Rich in 1971 after the Franco-German War. Till the 1960s only a minority of the population was French and only a little bit more than 10% were fluent in France. After the Second World War the Alsatians asked for a referendum but the French occupying power denied that. During the last decades France more and more adapted the Alsatians to the French culture.
14zerocero 3 years ago
I am Alsacian and I feel 100% French - Ich bin hundertprozent ein Franzose !! Alsace adhered enthusiastically to the French revolution, some of the best generals of the Revolution were from Alsace, and the Marseillaise was composed in Strasbourg. A nation is not based on race or language, but on the will to live together. If the Germans had organized a referendum in 1871, Alsace would have remained French !
Fridomfry 3 years ago
the French army canceled in 1917, 1914: french victory of la Marne, 1916 french victory of Verdun, the americans came in july 1917 and enter in the fight 2 months later, at end :during the battle of the Somme half of Allied troops were French...
