Very interesting ideas, not altogether very "spanish" in style or rythm, and with a couple of harmony/piano writing changes......very "live", and no doubt great fun to have been there. Obviously a masterly pianist who does what he wants.
Great, great performance by an outstanding world-class pianist. I have to say that this is not the way i feel this piece, that i'm far from interpreting the "spanish character " of this work like maestro bellucci wants it, but nonetheless i can't help to admire the incredible technic and care for details that he put into it.
tolles Stück, toll gespielt. Sehr brillant und mit sehr hohem Tempo. Bravo!

Do parts of this seem very similar to tunes in the Intermezzo from La Boda de Luis Alonza?

Interesting interpretation. I liked it more the longer I listened.
The keys on the piano he plays must be slicker than a greased up championship Rubiks cube. Far cry from the old thumper I had to learn on :D
