HF stands for High efficiency. And I like the new civic. They look decent and they got lots of great features that you can't find in the competition

And 39 MPG is great for the standard Civic. Its nice how you don't have to cough up another 5 grand to get near 40 MPG (yes, thats you chevy) and and for 18 grand you can get 41 MPG AND 36 MPG city. The last gen civic got 36 MPG on the highway.

Keep up the good work Honda. Love the monster. Im gettng a new car soon and im considering a honda!

The new civic commercials are driving me insane. I hate every single one of them and would have bought a Honda in the past but will not anymore. Perhaps the demographic of their target market is simply simple. And, is it me, or are today's so called 'economy cars' gas hogs, compared to the ones from the 90's, such as the Geo Metro and the Honda CRX? Both of them had at least 40 MPG combined mileage, yet they were simple gas motors, and not this overrated, bulky, more damaging than it seems hybrid technology.
