  • I have a 2008 Edge. It is a pretty good car. But it isnt made for quality. For example there are a lot of creeks and noises from the vista roof. And the rear passenger road noise gets annoying. I will be posting a review and my personal opinions of the Edge so if you go on my channel either later today or tomorrow you will see it

  • i don't get city slickers and their crossovers. a "truck" on a car frame what stupidity.

  • This car sucks, there's no excuse for a carmaker to put out a car in 2011 that sucks 17 MPG city driving and only 24 on the highway. For the amount of Gas money you'll be pouring in can instead be saved for BMW

  • @Gyro911 I don't like this car too but "This" is a 2007-08 model.

  • @Gyro911 I don't really get your point, but the 2011 model's ecoboost engine gets 21 / 30

  • LMAO i feel so bad for my friend i told him to save his money so when he turns 16 he can get a decent car he didnt listen now hes gnna drive his moms ford edge lol

  • My parents were looking for an SUV and they thought they would love the Edge but once they drove it, it was awful! The handling sucked and the visibility was awful, and I thought it was pretty ugly. I had no room in the back (I'm 5'10) and even though my head was touching the roof I couldn't see out. They got a Nissan Rogue and love it.

  • nice car for a middle class soccer mom. not my style. just get the mercedes ml550 or even the glk. this cars ugly. those shit girlles are ugly

  • I had best win it or I shan't be driving it

  • When will KBB make a review about the 2011 ford edge ?

  • on a desert camping trip in the uae, my friend brought an edge in awd trim. everyone (land cruisers, pajeros, fortuners) made it apart from the edge that got stuck as soon as the front wheels left the road, the rear wheels werent doin anything!

  • @stig1893 well no shit its a vehicle for a soccer mom not for jeeping it up the river down the rocky valley side thats like saying my porche outran my buddies ford fiesta" noshit duh!

  • @3030indaface it said 4 wheel drive but the back wheels were lazy as fuck

  • Those seats look horrible.......

  • @fizk even the leather ones, the seats height is so short.

  • is it atomatic

  • @dendro80

Yes profits from all over the world goes to the parent company which is Ford. I never said that isn't true.

  • @dendro80

Ford pays corporate taxes to countries where it makes its vehicles. Most of its vehicles are made in the US so it pays most of its corporate taxes to the US government, but a large portions of its taxes are paid to other countries as well? What do you mean who OWNS Ford? I told you, Ford is owned by its shareholders. Where a company is based is not that important. Sony's CEO is British and he's rarely in Tokyo. You and I we are two distant cousins arguing makes little sense.

  • @dendro80

    1. The Ford family does not own the majority of Ford.

    2. Ford's profits to to Ford and its shareholders, not to the US.

    3. The US government does not classify Ford as an American company. It classifies Ford as a global company.

  • @dendro80

YOU say Ford is an American company doesn't make it so. The official Ford website says Ford is a global company. I think I'll take Ford's words rather than yours.

  • @dendro80

Says who Ford is American owned? Only those Americans who own shares in Ford own a piece of Ford? The majority of Ford shareholders are not Americans, so it is not an American owned company.

  • @dendro80

Ford Edge is made in Canada, you moron!

  • one common reason for kelly brook reviews SUCKS SUCKS is they never give the FUEL ECONOMY RATINGS.

  • I have the ford sel im geting it tmr. and it has over head dvd and back up camera. really good car

  • NO thank,,,

    i dont like this car

  • Go toyota!

  • Go toyota?

Ya they sure can go but they wont stop once they get going haha

  • Oh stop hatin dude! That's Y it's still America's #1 best selling car and always will be!

  • Actually no,

Ready to return to reality yet?

The Ford Focus, is now outselling the Corolla and Civic

The Fusion is outselling and rated higher than the Camry and Civic.

Sorry Detroit is on its way back, chong chong sushi mobiles are on a decline.

  • no Found On Road Driving, did you know 99 percent of toyotas are still on the road?! the remaining 1% just about made it back

  • @jaffacake1578 , 99% of Toyota's are NOT still on the road, you can't just make this shit up as you go you know.

  • @KlipschHead281 No its really 74% then as of now maybe 69%.

  • @lamyaty or Fix Or Repair Daily

  • @fordsucksGOHONDA rofl that so true from any ford from 1985-present day my sis bought a new 2010 tuarus its in the shop for the second time>! FORD SUCKS!!!

  • @racingchamp101 Your a lier unless you can prove that your sis bought a lemon. I bet you cant.

  • @fordsucksGOHONDA

    Horrible

    Orange

    Nigger

    Gay

    Ass

  • lol yeah lets get killed with a toyota with a stuck accelerater!!!!!!!and unresponsive brakes!!!!hell yeah!!!!

  • @hansen71199 or go with ford that made the legendary pinto. id have a toyota any day.

  • @rkjpsn right, won't buy because of something Ford built back in the 1970's but you'll buy from Toyota that has issues NOW. Smart, real smart, I'll stick with Ford, none of them are racing out of control.

Hey lamyaty, FORD stands for FIRST ON RACE DAY!, Remember that. ;)

  • @KlipschHead281 actually i hate to admit it but you have a point. im still a toyota fan for now, but if the overall quality starts to fall then it might be time for something else. that being said, i have a 99 toyota and it has never broken down even once. and i have a buddy with a 99 explorer and hes never had a problem either. so if i had to buy american, it would be a ford. i think we can both agree that dae woo should be avoided.

  • @rkjpsn Well said, I wish Toyota and Honda would go back to their 90s manufacturing style. Toyotas and Hondas built in the 90s are basically bullet proof. Meanwhile their mass production and cost saving methods have hit their legendary reliability. Ford is learning from their past mistakes. You can see the improvement with each new model they're pushing out.

  • @tobearockstar0706 um but we live in the year 2010. Hyundai is the new Toyota.

    2011 Sonata.

  • @rkjpsn legendary 4 what killing ton of poeple exploding gas tanks

  • Den, I don't disagree with you about Ford, but I had a 90 Honda Accord that was at 170,000 and still running. Of course time is against all guys and they will eventually start to have problems-No matter what car company you buy from. But I highly doubt the cars were running strong unless you put money into them to make them stay strong.

  • I love ford. I am 14 and Ill be driving next year. So in two years when I am 16 im gonna get a 99 or 2001 explorer lol

  • @newdriverspermit How funny, me too! Although I'm going to drive either a 1997 Volvo 960 or a 1999 Volvo V70 XC AWD.

  • Waht. I like Chevy too. I really don;t care. I just love Ford because I actually found an affordable car that is old that I can have next year. I really like all car types. I want a BMW eventually. :) Sorry if that upsets ppl. But don;t hate me just because I have an opinion.

  • wow 83 f150 with 250k still running? thats amazing

  • Ford only owns 13% of mazda...

  • Too bad many of those cars were probably built in Canada or Mexico :)

  • @MrJy, Yes, some Ford cars are built in Canada o Mexico, but they are still built in Northamerica. I'm the proud of a Ford, the best american automaker.

  • @MrJy93 Your point is?

  • ya man, when u say good stuff about ford suddently some jackass has to say something like "no resale value",.,.

well fuck u then bitch ,,.,.u ain't buying a car for selling it,.,.

    punks././

  • wrong

  • Mazda has a ford badge!

  • i have an edge limited. its extremely quiet, looks awesome especially with the 22"s on it. but the selling point for me is the space in the back seat. im 6"3 and i have lots of room left to spare. also ford they're the only north american car company that could hold their own and need bailouts from the government. the panoramic roof is sweet and the car looks awesome on the road im also only 15 and i can review cars better than everyone preceding me . you guys are retarded9no offense)

  • So you mean your parents own the car, and you get to sit in the back all day.

And Ford did demand help from governments, they threatened to shut down plants in Canada and Germany if they didn't offer state-subsidized sales incentives to consumers who bought Ford vehicles. A much more responsible way of asking for assistance, but a bailout nonetheless.

  • wow ur cool, i bet u looked up all this information up when u were home by urself on a friday night. ...ur a fag, in a nice way,

  • @kamikakushii

They sold or shut down all their brands except Ford and Lincoln. That's pretty bad considering they have 7 brands back in 2008.

  • ford sucks but I love the edge!

  • Why exactly does ford suck?

  • resale value sucks, parts suck. The only thing good about ford is they are domestic so parts are cheap. They don't last long though

  • Resale value is worse just because people like you still think they are bad, the parts aren't bad, they use just as good and better materials than in toyotas. Check out a review of the new taurus, no cheap materials there, or in the new mustang, or fusion. And that not lasting long comment is a load of shit, how many old 1990's and 2000's taurus and f150s do you see on the road? I see thousands.

  • yeah any car will last long if you keep repairing it. I use to have a focus and it sucked ass

  • Didn't the third generation Taurus have huge engine problems pretty early on in its life? Something with the cam shafts..

I've also heard that a lot of their components are either poorly assembled or just poor in general.

They are making some pretty good looking vehicles now though. The 2010 Taurus SHO is pretty damn impressive.

  • The toyota tundra had problems with it's cam shafts. Any car can have problems. And maybe some older cars aren't assembled that well but any new ford is just as good as the imports.

  • I perfer a traditional SUV. Crossovers are too wierd for me.

  • the car is nice

  • I like that car

  • Out of a job yet? Keep buying foriegn.

  • @mississauga0909

I will and I'm socialist so I refuse to work.

  • ford egde made in canada nerd go get educated

  • Then why the Fxck are you watching this video?

  • we just bought the edge with everything in it today and we love it.

  • love the inside, but its missing something on the out...I was about to buy one, but bought the Nissan Murano Instead. I love the test drive of the edge and interior, but it just seemed WEAK...I love my murano!

  • the ford edge is the strongest in its class

  • this lady sounds like a flight attendant

  • LOL! High Teens __Get it?

  • Now only if my Bentley had this much room .... Bentley Continental FTW although I always liked big vehicles....

  • i love ford (:, beatiful, and full of quality

  • amen buddy lol

  • false info here, my mother got an edge and it has keyless remote start

  • @stewiegriffin045 it is an additionally feature which costs $ but your correct in the fact that it exists

  • @stewiegriffin045 it might have become an option made available in a year after this video was made

  • @stewiegriffin045 that may be a newer model

  • @stewiegriffin045 Mmhmm...the presenter actually contradicts herself, admitting later on in the video that the Edge DOES in fact offer the remote start feature.

  • toyota venza > ford edge..fixed or repaired daily..

  • You mean, F.or O.nly R.eal D.rivers! ;-)

  • So if you get the Mazda CX-9 you get the same car with better styling?

  • I personally think, the Ford Edge still looks better...but, between both interiors..., it's arguable!

  • Standard features include air conditioning and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel.

  • infiniti is a luxury brand

    how about lincoln mkx?

  • Is this a better car or a Mistibishi Outlander?

  • well in 2010 there is a new outlander coming out that has the exact front end of a lancer and it looks sick. google the outlander gt prototype

  • ok thank u dude.

  • Ya n it realy does look "sick"! LOL!

  • I think so.

  • ucoocho you think the edge is a horrible car its the crossover with the most room and it looks better then anyother crossover and comes in sport with body kit

  • why alaways in kbb reviews girls drive

  • because all the other reviews have ONLY guys. but its mainly targeted towards women.

  • Lincoln MKX - Luxury = Ford Edge

  • Same goes for the Nissan and, Infiniti! Nissan Muarano+luxury=Infinity FX. ;-)

  • Yep. Tahoe + Luxury = Escalade Murano + Luxury = FX Armada + Luxury = QX56 Rogue + Luxury = EX Sequoia + Luxury = Land Cruiser and LX570 Civic + Luxury = TSX Accord + Luxury = TL and RL Expedition + Luxury = Navigator F150 + Luxury = Mark LT Passat + Luxury = A6
  • Well..., you had 90% correct! The T. Sequoia and, Land Cruiser is sort of different...evendoe, they share the same platform. I'd say, it's more of just a luxury version of the Land Cruiser=the Lexus LX570. ;-)

  • The Land Cruiser and LX570 are both expensive luxury SUV's. I think they are both luxurious alternatives to the Sequoia. But the LX570 isn't too high above the Land Cruiser. Just a few more standard features and literally 2 more horsepower.

  • Lol.. I can agree with that.

  • What do you drive?

I have a used 2007 Audi A6. I bought it five or six months ago.. it was in good condition but not great, 6700 miles, $33800. The previous owner had an additional navigation system, and it already has leather upholstery and power front seats and a ton of other stuff, so I was like "Hell yea!" lol

  • The Audi A6 is a spectacular vehicle. I always liked Audi. I drive a 2008 Lincoln MKZ. It's a VERY nice car, also! You'll be VERY impressed by the quality and, features it have. I believe, the Lincoln MKZ is truely an underrated vehicle!

  • Yea, the MKZ is underrated. I don't like how people turn down Lincoln. They seem like decent luxury cars. People refuse to respect or support Cadillacs and Lincolns cause they're American cars.. That's like hating black people cause they're black. American cars have decent engineering, and Cadillacs are good buys. The Lincoln Town Car REALLY disappoints me, and I'd much rather take a Cadillac DTS, but all the other Lincolns are respectable vehicles.

  • You know what? You have to be one of the smartest, reasonable people I've spoken to, on this website, yet! I couldn't agree with you more! That's the only reason why, most people dislike American vehicles. Ford, GM and, Mopar have made LEDGENDARY engines and, drivetrains over the past century(big blocks and, small blocks)! With that being said..., how can someone knock an American vehicle's creditability??? Smh..

  • (continued)

Don't get me wrong..., foreign vehicles are very good, also...but, my first choice will always be one of the D's big three(mainly Ford), no question! ;-) Now, as far as, the Lincoln TownCar goes..., I can't fib.. It was sort of a disappointment...but, it's only with the design. As far as, the drivetrain and, luxury of the car..., I'd say, it was definitely a sleeper! Evendoe, I wished, Linc. should've atleast gave the 5.4l a try before, dismissing it from the lineup! ;-)

  • I just think that the Cadillac DTS destroys the Lincoln Town Car. Its interior is far more luxurious, it has more power, and it looks a little cooler. I think the DTS should be $50,000-$55,000 while the Town Car should stay down somewhere between $37,000 and $42,000.

  • Lol.. $37k??? Now, that's a little steap! Believe it or, not! It was a reason why, the Linc. TownCar was over $40k.. The TownCar is LOADED with luxury features...but, most people wouldn't know because, their always being driven around in it. Linc. may not have been known for great hp....but, they're definitely known for luxury, class and, elegance! ;-)

  • Standard features of the Town Car include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, tilt wood/leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio and climate controls, cruise control, leather upholstery, heated 8-way power driver seat, memory system, universal garage door opener, and compass.

I guess the Town Car is more luxurious than I thought. But the DTS also has, for just $350 more, heated/cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats. And the DTS has optional massaging at $50k.

  • Lol.. Being sarcastic, huh? You must haven't seen the features that, the 2008 1/2 Linc. TownCar offered(fully loaded signature or, executive series). ;-)

  • Really? What other options come along with the Signature?

  • Well..., for starters..., it's longer, it have reclining seats in the rear...with, fold down desks from, the back of the driver/passenger seats. Heated and, cooled seats with vibrators and, a DVD based navigation up front.

  • How about massaging seats in the DTS at $50,000? Even the $90,000 S-Class doesn't have standard massage!!

  • True! If you ask me...I think, those German vehicles are waaaaay overrated! I'll choose a Caddy and, a Linc. over, a Germ. or, Jap. lux. car, anyday! ;-)

  • I think very similarly to you. I think that American cars have and deserve just as much potential as German cars. People only pretend to like Mercedes and BMW over Cadillac and Lincoln cause Mercedes and BMW are "well-known", cause of the prominence, the badge, the "Guess what! In your face! I'm drivin' a Mercedes!" Cadillac STS > Mercedes E-Class. Cadillac Escalade > Mercedes GL450. Lincoln MKX > Mercedes ML. Lincoln Navigator > Mercedes GL450. Lincoln > Mercedes. Cadillac > Mercedes. AMERICA!

  • Very well said. I couldn't agree with you more! That sort of thinking from, some people is, the reason why, some American automakers are going threw financial problems, right now. They're beileving the hype that, Germ. and, Jap. automakers are putting, out there...like, American vehicles can't compete with them. I feel, American vehicles can compete with them, in every catagory(or, win in a few)! I believe, one good American vehicle that, deserved more regconition was, the Linc. LSE-V8! ;-)

  • In return, I completely agree with you. I think American cars are decent competitors to foreign vehicles, though people fail/refuse to realize/respect that. Take a look at the Cadillac CTS-V, for example. The car gets from 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds (give or take 0.1 seconds from different testers), has 556 horsepower, has a fairly luxurious interior, and is $20,000 less than its weaker competitors, the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG. Or the Escalade, with all the luxury and power in the world.

  • True! That's how, you'll know, most people in this world are just plain American biased, in general! The Caddy Escalade is a VERY spectacular SUV(the Linc. Navi. will be, also when, it get's it's 6.2 400+hp. Boss engine)but, the critics still vote the Merc.-Benz GL over it(for some GOD knows reason)! That's ok. The Caddy Escalade still won, best large lux. SUV of the year! ;-)

  • Exactly. You know what I think? I think gayass soccer moms can drive big GL450's and say, "It's better than the Escalade! It's more efficient than the Escalade! It's more luxurious than the Escalade!" all of those facts are completely false. They can choose to waste their money, or they can get the best value for their money and take an Escalade - 403hp 6.2 liter V8, standard power liftgate, standard tri-zone climate controls, 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds, standard heated 2nd-row seats, etc. etc. etc.

  • Lol.. True! That's exactly what, the GL. looks like..., a oversized minivan! No to take up for the GL....but, it is luxurious but, that's because, it's a Merc.-Benz. With that being said...overall, I'll still vote for GM's Escalade. It's just a better truck, overall than, the GL.! For the GL. to be considered a large SUV..., it's towing and, payload is HORRIBLE!

  • The GL450 would be 100% in my standards if it was sold with an MSRP of $55,000. But $62,000 for that piece of crap with no standard power liftgate, no standard memory system, no standard cooled front seats, no standard tri-zone climate controls, no standard tri-zone climate controls, 335 horsepower, 4.7 liters... THAT is a waste of money. The Escalade has:

    1. More power

    2. Faster (0-60mph takes 0.4 seconds less)

    3. More standard features

    4. Better fuel economy

ANY way you can go wrong? No!

  • Lol.. True. The only thing, that truck have is, it's hyped-up name! I'd say, within' the next 3 to 5 years..., people will start to see, the true qualities of Cadillac and, Lincoln. ;-)

  • They better, lol

  • You'll see. ;-)

  • good hahaha

  • So, how do you feel about Hyundai? ;-)

  • I don't like Hyundai very much. I mean Hyundai pwns the Mercedes GL450, but the cars are just low-quality - not great gas mileage, bad ride quality, not great handling, atrocious acceleration, etc. What are your thoughts?

The only German car company that I am REALLY fond of is Audi. They are less-expensive, more fuel-efficient alternatives to BMW's. I love that Audi A8 W12 - it's a $132,000 Bentley (as opposed to $175,000+). And the Audi TT gets 31mpg and is very sporty.. love it.

  • Well..., some people are starting to say, Hyundai's quality is on par with Honda and, Toyota(in which, I don't think so, as of yet)but..., I DO think, the new Genesis(sedan and, coupe)and, Eclipse are very nice! I can admit..., I'd choose the Genesis over, the Avalon and, Accord, anyday. Lol.. As far as, German automobiles..., I couldn't agree with you more! I LOVE Audi, out of the three! I love Jaguar, also. I kinda like Volvo, too. ;-)

  • I do admit the Genesis has been a success since its debut back in the fall of 2008. I remember reading about it in a Car and Driver back in the summer, and it did seem like one of the best full-size sedans there were (not including full-size luxury sedans). Of course, the price of it is higher than most full-size sedans, but that accounts for the extra luxury, power, and ride quality that it returns. It's a pretty good car.

I love the Eclipse. It's slick and sporty. But it's sold by Mitsubishi.

  • Yeah. That's true with it compared to average full-sized sadans...but, questionable against luxury full-sized sedans. It have enough to compete, though! I'm sorry..., I meant, the TiburonGT instead of, Eclispe! Lol.. ;-)

  • Essentially, I find the Hyundai Genesis to be somewhere between the Ford Taurus and the Volvo S80. I forgot to tell you that I also like Volvos. My mother, at 47, drives a Volvo XC90, the $50,000 V8. She absolutely loves it. It's super luxurious, powerful, and roomy. But I won't brag. I drive an 03 Tiburon (not the GT). It's slow, but its look and handling are satisfactory/decent. I just started driving like a month ago, and we bought it for like $5800.. hella good deal, you have to admit.

  • I can say that, too....but, around as, the same as, the Ford Taurus limited version. My father(R.I.P.)had a 2005 Volvo S80. I was very nice. He owned two Volvos in his life time. The other was, a 740, back in the early 90s.. I say, that's a prettygood deal for your Tiburon(depending on, the condition). Personally..., I like sport and, sporty cars...but, I'm a SUV/Truck man. Lol..

  • Did I ever ask you what you drive?

Yea, I love SUV's too, but I like sports and sporty cars as well. I consider any 0-60mph acceleration under 5 seconds "really fast". I rode in a Subaru Impreza WRX sTI, and that does 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds and that was a FUN car.

Do you like compact, midsize, or large SUV's? I love large SUV's. I just feel like I'm the king of the world when driving one. They're roomy and luxurious. Sometimes it's ok to pollute the air... when you're having fun. lol

  • Comment removed

  • I don't recall if, you did. Lol.. Actually..., I have 2 cars..., a trickout '99 Chevy 'Burban and, a early model Infinity Q45. I love both cars VERY much! ;-) If you ask me...I'd say, any car that, does 0-60, anywhere in the 5 sec. range is fast! Lol.. Subarus have always been good quality cars, threw the years! Also..., they've always gave Ford 'Stangs, GM's Camaros/GTOs and, Mopar's NeonSRT a DARN good challenge! ;-)

  • Your last sentence is entirely accurate.

'99 Suburban... that's awesome. I love those bigass American SUV's. They're hella strong, reliable, COMFORTABLE, great off-roaders, perfect cars...

  • v

    v

    hahah

  • your a horrible person. SLAP SLAP!!!

  • well your a horrible person =]
