A lovely film about a wonderful place! My fiancee and I are getting married in Glastonbury Town Hall on August 15. I know the place well, but Sharon's never been there. She's in for a treat!
A very nice video; thank you for taking the time to make this. I live in the US and have only recently discovered this area of England thanks to the Internet. I so very much want to come and visit one day soon. Beautiful.
I have seen stuff saying that they have found proof that Arthur did exisit, they just can't find anything saying that he was actually King. They think he may have been a great leader but not a King. They have found old stones with Arthur's name on it but none of them prove that he was a King, however I'm sure everyone will always remember him as King Arthur.
Hey we went there the same week we visited Cheddar! I think the 'oldest building' you mentioned may have been the hotel we stayed in! Was it George and Pilgrims?
2. There is no music festival at Glastonbury, as it actually in Pilton at Worth Farm another 7 miles away! The confusion is due to the fact it's called The Glastonbury Festival I believe because you can see "The Tor" (the tower in your film) from the site.
1. King Arthur can not be bared in Glastonbury as he never actually existed, he was ands will always be nothing but a myth. The monks made it up abut the grave as some bones were found by them and it was good way to make some cheep money!
Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and very interesting history!! I know precious little about England and her tales. Looking forward to hearing more :) *hint* *hint* ;)
Jim, Fantastic look at Glastonbury. I tend to keep myself too busy for trips that aren't work-related, so it's great to get a peek of a place I've never been as described by someone who is no stranger to the land.
wow ... cool video!

Hello,
At what frequency range does your radio operate on?
Do you have a frequency you use more than the rest?
Sounds like it was SSB (Single-Sideband) is it Upper Or Lower SSB?
Do you use Call Letters to identifier your station?
Please describe your present radio set up, antenna set up and so on. Thanks Dave

Hi Jack
Just wanted to correct you on two points.
1. King Arthur can not be bared in Glastonbury as he never actually existed, he was ands will always be nothing but a myth. The monks made it up abut the grave as some bones were found by them and it was good way to make some cheep money!

Hi Wetmonday
Just wanted to correct you on one point. You spelled 'cheap' wrong! You spelled it 'cheep'. Hate to split 'heirs'. Ha ha...

Oops must have been too much cider!
Loved the "heir" pun very good!

Hi jim, Guess where I live? Yup, Greetings from Glastonbury!! You've made a vid of my 'stomping' ground, we may well have walked past each other!!
Great broad introduction to the town, tons I could say,
slightly gobsmacked at the moment!
Just made a collection of vids of the town and abbey!
Might have filmed you! one of them 'funny coincidences'
Had a feeling you were getting closer!
I was right.
