it's been 9 years now, seems like yesterday. i was unemployed the summer of '03, i rode my bike daily with warren in my discman, i've been "mrbadx19" for 20 years, short for mr bad example, i have a thing for lawyers, i want them DEAD. i have plenty of guns and money.
Bob Walkenhorst is from KC. In fact, he plays every Wed. night at a place called the Record Bar. The picture that you show is not Bob. It is Norm Dahlor, bass player for the Elders (irish rock band from KC). He plays with Bob a lot of times at the record bar. MIZZOU82
Boy, the rhythm section on this, plus the keys, just blast right through this. Wish the lead would have been better. Still a real good effort. And of course, another Zevon/Dylan connection!
And who is the lead singer with the Wallflowers? Jakob Dylan, Bob Dylan's son, so along with Mutineer this song is a double tribute from the Dylan clan. There's also a lovely version of them doing this with Jordan, Warren's son, on David Ltterman's show floating around here on YouTube.

Surprised that they didn't put Meat Loaf's cover of this. His was with a LOT of energy (which is a trademark of Meat's live performances).

I love how Ryan says "Warren get me out of this" not "Dad get me out of this"

@ooaman02 - Thank you for sharing these great videos from a fine WZ tribute album. I appreciate the time it must have taken to do this.
