It is mildly acidic

Plants absorb it to produce oxygen

Animals exhale it as we absorb oxygen

The oceans' releasing it is a result temperature rise.

As temperature rise at this time is as a result of human activity then we are not 4.7% of co2 sources, but 64.2%.
