Love this song...it is the best opening from the anime i have seen. I was lucky enough to find the 6 disc dvd set of this anime among the many dvd sets that i purchased in a bulk a few weeks ago. I was surprised to find out that this anime is one of the more expensive ones to purchase. The set I got goes for like 300 bucks. Lucky me.

Sorry if this is kinda random: the reason the lyrics for the song are different on lyrics websites is that people translate it differently - so there might not be a correct version of the lyrics, although, when singing this song to myself, I follow the lyrics from the CrisVee version of this song :)

Also, if you look up a Japanese song on iTunes, they have this Japanese Anime Volume stuff, and the songs (this song, the second OPing theme song, some FMA/FMAB songs, and Durarara's OP's songs) are sung by different people... sadly. Although, recently, I found this song, not one sung my some other woman, on iTunes (unlike before), but I don't have enough iTunes money to buy the song... or the 2nd theme song by HER... also, they didn't have the song Lies by Evanescence...

You will find every background scenary of Higurashi anime in this small village...a village do not even have street lights where you will find rena's house, teppei house, Keiichi's house, rica's house, shirine...everything about this anime in such a small place.

@RokerChick4ALifetime "nipah" does not really mean anything... however, apparently some manga (not sure if it's true or not) use that "nipah" as a sound effect for a cheery, bright smile. So, Rika's basically saying sound effects out loud, lol. And it's SO CUTE!! :)
