  • I love Ralph Nader.

  • Excellent , informative video..

  • Nader voting BITCH! .... right here ... I took such fucking flack for doing it but frankly how the fuck could you not know we are being manipulated, poisoned and looted rapaciously by these sociopathic entities?!

And if you did know .... then how the FUCK could you NOT have voted for the motherfucker who once stood up to GM and won, regardless of the temptations thrown by THEM in his path ... it makes little sense to do otherwise. I stand by my choice, I always will.

    UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED ;)

  • Executives Receive One-Third of All Pay in the U.S.

Between 1979 and 2006, the inflation-adjusted after-tax income of the richest 1 percent of households increased by 256 percent.

    Return of the Giant Bonus

You'd think there wasn't a recession going on. The Washington Post reports that Wall Street's six biggest banks have reserved a combined $74 billion, up from $60 billion last year, to pay executives and other employees mere months after the government bailed them out with taxpayer dollars.

  • USA SHOWS THE WAY TO MORE TROUBLE

Report: Global Military Spending Rose to $1.46 Trillion in 2008

Overall military spending has increased by 45 percent since 1999.

The US remains the biggest spender, accounting for 58 percent of the total global spending increase during the past decade.

    WAR IS A RACKET

    WAR PROFITEERS ARE CRIMINALS

  • Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, the Bill of Rights, that is what it is all bout, in all countries, not one child, not one mom, not one dad, should suffer so that skull and bones and the carlyle group makes money, Our children are very innocent, very beautiful, so much to learn, love them.

  • you need to get this video seen by more people!

  • Be my guest ;)

  • Maybe Ralph Nader was right in predicting that the same Wall Street hustlers would have a lock on our government no matter which major party won the election. I hate to admit it, since it wasnt that long ago that I heatedly challenged Nader in a debate on this very point. "Obama Chooses Wall Street Over Main Street" - Robert Scheer on Obama's Pro-Greed Cabinet

  • "The only difference between the GOP & DEMs is the velocity with which their knees hit the floor when corporations knock at the door." - Ralph Nader

  • I almost always vote the incumbent out.

  • AMERICA HAS GOT TO STOP JUDGING POLITICIANS ON WHAT THEY SAY BUT ON WHAT THEY DO !

Why was Ralph kept away from Big media ?

Because information is power...And maybe, just maybe, it could be easier to manipulate a nation of village idiots than a nation of well informed citizens ;)

"Apparently, a democracy is a place where numerous elections are held at great cost without issues and with interchangeable candidates." - Gore Vidal

  • "I place no hope in Obama or the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is a pathetic example of liberal, bourgeois impotence, hypocrisy and complacency. It has been bought off. I will vote, if only as a form of protest against our corporate state and an homage to Polanyi's brilliance, for Ralph Nader. I would like to offer hope, but it is more important to be a realist. " - Chris Hedges

  • this video needs to be seen by everyone!

    Nader\Gonzalez o8!!

  • * THE GREATEST THEFT IN THE HISTORY OF HUMANKIND * Its called fascism. Its where your big corporate interests throw in with government, destroy the freedom of the rest of the people, and preserve their power. Everybody forgets, private corporations and banks did quite well, made out quite well in Italy and Germany in those days, you know? And I am really worried about this assault on our democracy. - ROBERT SCHEER / "Politics is the entertainment branch of industry." - Frank Zappa

  • and now you know the real story behind the the bailouts

  • Great video! I will do my best to spread it around. But I'm getting tired of my Obama-supporting friends arguing with me about my support of Nader... Sheesh!

  • Show them this watch?v=F9SOVzMV2bc :)

or make them watch the documentary about Nader, or tell them Obama is wrong on the bailout + military + patriot act + israel + fisa etc

  • Go try and print the US Constitution and the Declaration Of Independence and give it to them. You might go to some decent webpages, that tells the truth about Obama ang McCain.

  • A MOCK UP DEMOCRACY FOR THE POWERS THAT BE * Thing is when you add all the people that will vote for Nader, Paul, Kucinich, Barr, McKinney & the 50% who dont vote anymore you get a huge chuck of WE THE PEOPLE who have no voice, no representation, no political power while corporations are lobbying the crap out of Congress, Senate & White House.

  • "I wouldn't call it fascism exactly, but a political system nominally controlled by an irresponsible, dumbed down electorate who are manipulated by dishonest, cynical, controlled mass media that dispense the propaganda of a corrupt political establishment can hardly be described as democracy either." -- Edward Zehr - (1936-2001) Columnist

    Thank You!

  • Great Video! Well Done! We, the people can stop supporting these companies - watch where you shop and who you buy from and get off the thinking that having a lot of "stuff" and fast food is going to make a better person!

  • I smell a worldwide revolution coming, but probably after a world war.

  • In your dreams ;)

We will perform exactly as our mediacracy will tell us too.

  • good information

  • Ralph Nader is probably the most knowledgeable political person out there. The corporated leaders have all but destroyed the country and the majority of our citizenry has turned to sheep waiting for the sheering to take place.

  • WHERE IS EVERYBODY ? The Way of the World: Ron Suskind on How the Bush Admin Deliberately Faked an Iraq-al-Qaeda Connection and Undermined Diplomacy, Democracy in Pakistan and Iran * The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Judiciary Committee say they will review allegations the White House ordered the CIA to forge and disseminate false intelligence documents linking al-Qaeda and Iraq. • KBR / CHENEY / HALLIBURTON POCKET THE MONEY & KILL AMERICANS WITH NEGLIGENCE * "A Senate panel investigating the electrocutions of Americans on bases in Iraq was told last week by former KBR Inc. electricians that the contractor used employees with little electrical expertise to supervise subcontractors in Iraq and hired foreigners who couldn't speak English. The Pentagon has said 13 Americans have been electrocuted in Iraq since September 2003."

  • THE DEMOCRATS & REPUBLICAINS JOINED TO LEGALIZE BUSH'S CRIMES AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION * And to Let the Multi-Billion Dollar Lawbreaking Telcom Companies Off the Hook. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claims that a key positive feature of the new wiretap "compromise" is that the bill reaffirms that the President must follow the law, even though the same bill virtually assures that no one will be held accountable for George W. Bush's violation of the earlier spying law.

  • The true reality that most people will not accept is that the USA government has devolved into a fascist dictatorship controlled by a single two-faced party of corporate interests.

  • Washington has become Versailles. We are ruled, entertained and informed by courtiers. The popular media are courtiers. The Democrats, like the Republicans, are courtiers. Our pundits and experts are courtiers. We are captivated by the hollow stagecraft of political theater as we are ruthlessly stripped of power. It is smoke and mirrors, tricks and con games. We are being had. - Chris Hedges

  • BBC UNCOVERS LOST IRAQ BILLIONS by The BBC * "It may well turn out to be the largest war profiteering in history." Also... Iraq Nears Title as World's Most Corrupt by Joel Brinkley * During the five years the United States has occupied Iraq, the Bush administration has created a new state with a number of notable features: A venal, dysfunctional government. A terrorist haven and training ground. A nation so violent and dangerous that 10 percent of the population has fled.

  • Companies such as Halliburton, Blackwater and DynCorp exist solely from the largesse granted to them through the implementation of the Shock Doctrine, "disaster capitalism," as Klein coins it. And it continues worldwide-in Iraq, most obviously, but elsewhere as well. Read the book, check big media's journalistic pabulum and connect the dots ! Ask yourself, who is benefiting? What are they trying to get away with? I promise you, you'll never watch the news the same way again.

  • BILLIONS IN MILITARY FRAUD * The tale of massive fraud and embezzlement of millions of dollars by the US military in its operations in Iraq continues. Testifying before the US Congress Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on 22 May, Mary Ugone, deputy inspector general of accounts in the Pentagon said that an audit of $8.2 billion spending related to the Iraq war showed that $7.8 billion had been improperly spent.

  • POISONOUS PLUTOCRACY PUSHES ECONOMIC INEQUALITY By Joel S. Hirschhorn * The biggest political issue receiving no attention by the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates is the powerful plutocracy that has captured the government to produce rising economic inequality.

  • The Military is Nowhere; the Press is Nowhere; the Congress is Nowhere...

We've Been Taken Over By a Cult * Is there a limit to the damage this executive branch can inflict to the USA ? Is seems not, for the wealthy bankers pet deranged primate (the decider) says so ! That's it that's all folks ! Where is everybody indeed !

  • REALITY * Americans, in general, seem averse to contemplating reality. Up until now it's been easy to get away with it, for as long as energy was cheap we were all free to pursue personal interests and put most everything else out of our minds. But soon reality is going to confront us at every turn. For some, it's already happening. By Mark A. Goldman

  • SUBSIDIZING CORPORATE CRIME & REWARDING CONSTITUTIONAL ABUSES * Government handouts to corporations might seem untenable at a time when more and more Americans suffer every day from the impacts of a mounting economic crisis. Yet efforts to bolster the economy have largely taken the form of corporate welfare — much like an appalling effort, in the closing days of the Bush administration, to subsidize corporate violations of the rule of law and individual liberties. By Shahid Buttar

  • After the Federal Reserve's $30 billion bailout for investment bank Bear Stearns last month came the Senate's recent decision to set aside $25 billion in tax breaks for corporate homebuilders, and then last week's revelation of "a historic collapse in audits" of major corporations by the IRS. All three stories prompted outrage from observers noting the implications for American workers.

  • BAILOUT BONANZA By Ralph Nader * As large corporations, and their trade associations, complete their takeover of the federal government—a process that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt called fascism in 1938—the corporations become the government. Just look at the recent headlines in the business press. Article after article features abuses and over-runs by companies contracting with the Department of Defense and other agencies.

  • The enormous volumes of waste, fraud and poor delivery affecting the Iraq war-occupation now only produces ho hum newspaper and television stories. The New York Times' prize-winning reporter David Cay Johnston, has written two books "Perfectly Legal" and just recently, the best seller "Free Lunch" that document these megatrends of corporate socialism—privatizing corporate profits and socializing corporate losses on the backs of individual taxpayers.

  • The corporate crime lobby, both Democrats and Republicans, have for years, throughout most of the century, wanted to get rid of corporate criminal liability. And the Chicago School theorists put it this way: a corporation is not a person. Or as Jeffrey Parker put it, a corporation has no mind and therefore can commit no crime. And if a corporation isn't a person, it shouldn't be treated as a person in the criminal justice system. That's their argument.

  • If a corporation is not a person and shouldn't be treated as a person in the criminal justice system, then it shouldn't have the constitutional rights of a person. It should be stripped of its rights to free speech, commercial and political speech. It should be stripped of its rights to a trial by jury. It should be stripped of its protection against unreasonable searches and seizures. You can't have it both ways, but they want it both ways.

  • "THE DECRIMINALIZATION OF CORPORATE CRIME" - With our economic and financial crises deepening, government insiders reportedly are debating whether we need to restore some regulation—or not. Given the state of things, we can expect further woes and no regulation. by Stanley Kutler

Good riddance. By Mike Whitney

  • What are the consequences of a world in which regulators rescue even the financial institutions whose recklessness and greed helped create the titanic credit mess we are in? Will the consequences be an even weaker currency, rampant inflation, a continuation of the slow bleed that we have witnessed at banks and brokerage firms for the past year?

    Or all of the above?

    That Candidates and Congress Ignore

    By Ralph Nader

08/03/08 "ICH" -- -- The world's largest prison—Gaza prison with 1.5 million inmates, many of them starving, sick and penniless—is receiving more sympathy and protest by Israeli citizens, of widely impressive backgrounds, than is reported in the U.S. press.

  • THE $3 TRILLION WAR : After wildly lowballing the cost of the Iraq conflict at a mere $50 to $60 billion, the Bush administration has been concealing the full economic toll. The spending on military operations is merely the tip of a vast fiscal iceberg. - by Joseph E. Stiglitz and Linda J. Bilmes / Vanity Fair April 2008

  • The whole point of corporatism is to try and remove the public from making decisions over their own fate, to limit the public arena, to control opinion, to make sure that the fundamental decisions that determine how the world is going to be run -which include production, commerce, distribution, thought, social policy, foreign policy, everything-are not in the hands of the public, but rather in the hands of highly concentrated private power. - Noam Chomsky

    The truth is powerful.

  • Yep ! They're pissing off all da same people, they must be doing something right ;)

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." - George Orwell

  • What struck me, living and working in the United States, was that presidential campaigns were a parody, entertaining and often grotesque. They are a ritual danse macabre of flags, balloons and bullsh*t, designed to camouflage a venal system based on money power, human division and a culture of permanent war. / The Danse Macabre of US-Style Democracy By John Pilger

  • George Washington + Ron Paul = Freedom

  • How about a little Thomas Paine + Kucinich thrown in there for good mesure ;) VIVE LA FAYETTE !

  • "Every 10 days $2 billion is removed from the U.S. Treasury and placed in the accounts of Halliburton, Blackwater and all other war profiteers that are getting rich off the misery of Iraqis and Americans. Every 10 minutes an Iraqi civilian is injured or killed in a war that George Bush says will not end until he leaves office. Every 10 hours an American soldier is killed in a war that George Bush says will not end until he leaves office. " / An Alleged "Two Party System" By Ed Ciaccio

  • It's so pathetic a majority of Americans don't know and/or don't care this is going on underneath their noses.

People are so gullible and so easily misled.

Seeing the way the Democrats have are just turning out to be Conservative-lite, it's looking very grim indeed.

  • Sad Reality

  • "Private interests have looted the treasury, and the administration has sanctioned unrestrained fraud and corruption. We have watched Congress and the press become weak and willing handmaidens to those who would rip apart the fabric and laws of our democratic society. We hunger for the restoration of hope, common sense and purpose." - Jann S. Wenner 10/26/07 RS40

  • SORRY, YOUR JOB'S BEEN OUTSOURCED ! Thousands of manufacturing jobs have moved to countries that skimp on wages and regulations. Now the service sector is also at risk. NAFTA granted strong legal protections to corporate investors while offering only token protection of worker rights and the environment. Predictably, NAFTA produced a 50% increase in the number of factories along the Mexican border, where wages typically run 70 cents to $1 an hour.

  • GOP's Lynching by Laptop Scam Ignites DEM Copycats ? This was the most massive anti-democratic campaign to eliminate a third-party candidate from the ballot in recent American history. "Democracy Now " Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

  • Excellent video!

  • I always enjoy listening to Nader talk about corporatism.

  • Nader has my respect and my gratitute for bringing this to people's attention. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the White House. In the present 2-party system, he doesn't stand a chance of becoming President. But Vice-P with President Kucinich? They'd make a GREAT team. Integrity at last!

  • ..and corporate media ownership allows them to control the message.

  • awesome vid!

  • Excellent video. Nader has it right.

  • Time to fight the real enemy... corporatization.

  • There is no government; just a bunch of puppets.

  • If you haven't noticed not much has changes since the Democrats took power. Nothing will change until we all stop working and charge down to Washington and block all business for one day.Just stop buying stuff that would make more of an impact than voting. Until we the people can own land and property again we are at their disposal. Even just voting in their fake elections is condoning serfdom. Government privileges are not God given rights. I support Ron Paul

  • Finally, some reality television.

  • The merchants have always been the ones who really controlled politics and the people and they always will be. It's the natural order of things. In Japan during the feudal times when the shogunates like Tokugawa ruled the land they kept such a close eye on their daimyo (feudal lords) that they kept their families hostage in the capital city to prevent any uprising. That didn't prevent the merchants from growing in wealth and power and money replaced rice as the currency of commerce.

  • Overrule the interpretation of the 14th amendment that grants corporations the same rights as individuals.

  • I second the previous.

  • One man / one vote, One corporation / Billions of dollars... any questions?

  • .

America has become that which She once loathed.

    .

  • sadly, i don't even think it was the highest bidders.

  • There are only two ways to take down this monster. 1) forceful revolution of the current system 2) economic embargo on the US government by the citizens of the country. Voting to change things is a joke at this point. We Need A New Country!

  • He is right. America is now a fascist state and Bush is the cunt through which it was born but Republicans and Democrats are responsible.

  • Nader is dead on here.

  • "Politics is the entertainment branch of industry." Yes, but it's time for us (We the People) to end the show. Vote every single elected official out of office and keep doing that and we take control of the political process from the corporate powers that now buy and control the government.
