I really like you glissando's at the end, and the way you put your hands on the strings (can't find the english word) I have a question: how do you make your lower strings sound clear? i find it difficult, especially for the part after the "slamming the strings "
Hi Morgan, I try to play low on the lower strings to get a clearer sound, looking now at the video I think it should be even lower, because the bass of the harp sound too messy up on the middle of the strings (for fast passages like this one). I also think it helps a lot to exaggerate on the accents so that we don't get lost and helps to keep the spirit alive.
Thank you for your comment, it is always nice to hear good comments specially when it comes from other harpists.
came across this and immediately sent it to a beginning adult student; great playing, and also great demonstration of arm and hand position.

When you learned how to play this, did you use sheet music or did you learn it by ear?

I memorized from the sheet music. You can find it to buy at Vanderbilt music if you wish.

Wow, that was beautiful. Very well played. I have yet to learn to play this without making a mistake here and there, but soon I will be able to.
