  • In Soviet Russia, the night talks back to YOU!!!

  • Who's th schmuck who disliked this commercial???

  • totally "different" i wanted to say

  • @darryl80

but how can you say it would NOT look out of place today? that is an insane statement. i mean it has a totally style all over than anything from today.

actually NOTHING would feel more out of place today than those 80s styled clips. i personally prefer that 80s style 100% over anything of today so i can't see your point at all

  • The Mad Men hit a grand slam when they pow-wowed in an office and came up with this as a pitch, then as a reality.

These commercials are transcendent in nature. As someone else said, "I really miss the 80s".

  • Why do I feel like playing a little GTA Vice City now (SIGHHHH) The music rocked back then! I miss those days; life was much simpler and inexpensive.

  • The 80s were so positive and upbeat and classy. The ladies looked gorgeous. N

  • @acquiesce100 I know people actually looked like adults back then, now everyone wants to look like they're 18!

  • Hi guys, can anyone say me the title of this 80's song?

    Many thanks!

  • @keriplaton it's called ''talking back to the night''

  • What a great ad, Michelob also used Winwood's song "Dont You Know What The Night Can Do"

  • i was an extra in a michelob commercial directed by ridley scott in san francisco around this time - i was just looking for it here on youtube, but this one isn't it. it was in a seedier bar - i think on mission street.

  • Miller could have used Winwood's "Back In The High Life" for (duh) High Life commercials.

  • So. freaking. awesome.

  • This video has indeed aged well, in face, the whole series. It could almost run today and be just as fresh and current. The 80's was when commercials started looking as slick and as polished as feature films.

  • i think michael mann was making these videos. hence, the slick and polished feel.

  • God I miss the 80's.

  • u and me both.

  • good observation on the madonna video. she uses the same new york city at night concept with some romance disconnect going on. the michelob commerical was clearly before the madonna video.

  • This might be a stretch but look at Madonna's "Bad Girl" video and tell me if she didn't rip off the concept of this commercial. This commercial predates her video by 5 yrs. I bought this song on iTunes last year and the first thing that came to mind was this commercial. And I agree with the above poster, this song has aged very nicely. Thanks for posting.

  • These were some sexay commercials back in the day. I live in the US/Canada border (Bellingham, WA) and remember the Phil Collins commercial "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" on CBUT, KVOS.....love that song and that commercial.....somebody plz post! :)

  • Will post the Genesis/Phil Collins Michelob commercial in the next few days. Watch out for it.

  • You can subscribe to my videos to see the Genesis/Phil Collins Michelob commercia. My username is: SARATT69. Thanks for waiting for it!!!

  • darryl: i agree with your summary. this commerical had heavy rotation but never ever got stale or jaded. i also agree that it has aged nicely and would fit in with no problem today. i hear ridley scott might of directed some of them. there were a series of michelob commericals. any truth scott directing them?

  • this commerical rocks! a lot of people on here were discussing it in the past few months. thanks for posting it.

  • why cant i see the video

    looking for friends iz
