  • Just curious... what is the danger of high winds in a helicopter? Forgive my ignorance... I definitely know how it affects my aircraft, but not yours... please explain why it's risky. Apparently we had a crash at KFPR a few days ago because of winds.

    Since I`m not a pilot, I am not the right person to answer you. The pictures from Greenland was taken by me, - as a tourist and a friend of one of the two pilots.

    By the way, both of them came from the North of Norway..
