This is a great exercise for fingerstyle bass. Get it down tight. It's CRUCIAL to know this to be a fully functional fingerstyle bassist...ok? I recommend playing to it everyday to keep your timing in check. Really, if you can't play along with this in a solid but fluid manner...then what good are you?
Using a pick for such a part ok too.

Dammit.
Why waste peoples time, uploading this and calling it "beginners bass?" There is nothing here anyone can possibly learn from is there?

Sorry. It was the name of beavers instructional tape. Unfrtunatly there arent that many vids of this guys playing so people take the intros interludes and outros of his videos because theyre the most of whats recorded on this guy.

@Dmanlamius76 What is shown in the clip is not the instructional part of the video. It is just Beaver jamming with Angelo while the opening and closing credits role. The person who posted was respecting Beaver's copy rights by not posting the whole vid.
