Yet another reason to love Green Mountain Coffee Roasters! We use a Keurig in our office and share the K-Cups. Some of my coworkers even have their own in their offices. I know what I'm asking for Christmas this year!
Decent commercial, but I'd like to see one that attacks that Starbucks/cafe drive-thru vs MUCH cheaper Keurig option. Come up with a halo type of marketing -- use the espresso blend in the BOI cups (add vanilla flavor), and then launch a caramel sauce product.
A Caramel Machiatto replacement is more exciting than cream and sugar to iced coffee, and would help with incremental sales with halo effect IMO. Maybe a commercial with an envious co-worker? Or one that compares cost savings?
I love this video lots of going on really like the actress too! I'm thinking i'd like to try an iced coffee right now mines starting out a bit nutty! I might have to brew me up some now.
i like the actor and the ad....and i would feel a lot better about keurig if they could figure out how not to deposit tons of plastic in the landfills because of their cups...and now with iced coffee--i would expect that green mountain coffee would encourage people to use reusable plastic tumblers. it's always stuck in my craw that green mountain coffee could invent and promote such an environmentally irresponsible product.
@bicostl248 K-Cups are a premium coffee experience that is more environmentally friendly than visiting a coffee shop. Think of all the cups/lids get thrown away, and the fuel/emissions when cars are idling in the drive thru,
GMCR is working on it. By the way, check into the amount of money/effort that they put into various positive causes and you might be surprised (5% of pre-tax profits) -- vast majority of companies don't even come close.
@stealthnetx1 And french press is even more environmentally friendly and you can use ground coffee that you grind seconds before you pour over the just of the boil or water that has rested for 30 sec. Ground coffee goes still in less than 15 min.

Does it come out cold enough though? since the water is hot coming out. I'd think the ice would melt quick.

@Kara315 Not if you fill the container to the top with ice and use the 6 or 8-oz. setting. It's nice and cold!
