  • brilliant video, just come back from the alps and will deffo be on the start line next year.

some of the best riding in the world.

you did well man, really well.

  • I was in the same heat(row 4, far RHS). Think I started a few rows ahead of you (286) so we probably didn't meet on the track. I had a cam as well, check out my profile for it. I only got the top half recorded though as I crashed towards the end and lost the second bit of the footage.

  • Awesome video! I was in 1 heat nr169. Had a big overbar crash and finished 95th. I still get pumped up when I watch this vid.

  • Cool vid! Im the dude with the white top/red camelback that must hav been to your right on the start line!

What position / time did you get?

  • the guy on the left thinks its a good time for a nap XD... i'm thinking of entering next year. Would u say that previous bike racing experience is necessary... maybe certain rules an stuff?

  • I've never done this or any other downhill race before, so I'm sure you'd be fine. There don't appear to be any rules so I'd get yourself signed up when it opens.

  • awesome clip mate, just wondering how the terrain is, is it good enough for 5 inch travel bike (trance X0, wouldnt mind entering in it next year...what bike did you have?

  • I was riding a Heckler with Pikes on the front. Lyricks would have been a little better but the bike did a great job. As long as you put decent downhill tyres on your rig should be fine.

  • One of the best Mega vids I've seen this year for content, takes me right back. I was in qualifier 5 and loved every second of it!

  • Impressive stuff - is it just me or was the finish line on fire!

The sight of the crash pad would have had me heading straight for it!

  • Good effort - what was your time?

  • 38mins and managed to go from 167th at the start to 77th by the end. A great experience for a first race. Did you race?

  • I was on the wave for numbers 1000-1199.

    I got a puncture after 10 minutes :(

  • Tubless mate, I converted a couple months ago for the Mega, learnt my lessons last year! Not a single problem this year.
