Not only the shot is brilliant, but if you have any doubt about how difficult it was and how much pressure he had to make it right, look who's at the other side of the net if he misses...
I hope we will get some others Federer-Nadal finals before MR Grand Slam in person retires. 2-3 years are left to enjoy this rivalry.
It's indeed very hard to approach onto his forehand; the greatest players need to be moved around the court and put on the full run to force errors on passing shots... I've player playing stupid and out of position cross-court approaches on Federer's backhand to avoid his forehand and in the last match, Meltzer tried the same with Nadal many times - he was often out of position to execute those and tried to avoid going on that side as often as he could.
Some NHL forward players have confirmed to have been nervous when they had to face Brodeur or Roy (goaltenders). Even the best of them were already certain to fail before even trying...
Interesting how some of those great atheletes must seem even better simply by how they affect your mental awareness. Nadal surely makes the court seems so short from one side to the other and as Verdasco said: "You always try to do too much against Rafa." That's how far he is good.
@GueorguiJoukov with nadal on clay, you really have to come to the net when you can and throw in some drop shot´s, rallying from the back of the court with rafa on a clay court is a very bad deal..
Rafa power. Vamos Rafa in the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London,
