Beautiful car! If I was ever in the market for a luxury convertible I would take the Mercedes E-class Convertible or the Infiniti G37 convertible. The E-class is slow but its jaw dropping. =)

Anyone know why Mercedes would pick a soft top when others are using hard tops? ...was a size or weight issue?

@ESUNintel Cost I think was a factor in it. They wanted to make it competitively priced compared to other brands. Also I suppose they thought that if you really wanted a convertible that you'd be driving with the top down a large percentage of the time.

well they are the same the clk was always the e class coupe despite its name it was styled like it, it had the same engines just less doors. and well mercedes got sick of the name clk and thought e coupe would be better so this is acutely the new clk but with a different name and hard tops look horrible mercedes invent the hardtop convertible on the slk and with bmw u have no boot space the windows are narrow the roof lining is narrow do people with heads cant fit in the back

CLK models will soon cease to be produced by Merc.
