lololol I love this one. I like how instead of being the usual thief or street urchin, here Harpo is called "the Professor", but it's arguably is most insane character. Some inexplicably distinguished character who shows up and for absolutely no reason at all immediately goes bonkers and shooting randomly at the guests. LOL WTF.

I remember the first time I saw this, this being the one Marx Bros. film I'd never seen having grown up on them. I was absolutely wrecked. Needless to say, this scene was surreal and bordered on terrifying.

It doesn't have to make sense. These films weren't meant to be overthought. Groucho and the rest just did whatever got the most laughs. (maybe it's funny BECAUSE it makes no sense) :)
