well it is safe to say that that horse feels completely safe! Not an inch of fear that something could happen to him! Complete trust! Great! Love how he rides him head free, because there are many that can force a lot of things out of horses, but this is proof, horses can do it by trust as well and because if the trust you they like it!

It is really amazing how much trust a horse can have in a human. I think that a lot more people can do this if they are patient and want to give up their normal way of treating horses. Horses are such great animals!

I had an argentine criollo but he passd away aug. 18 of 09 he was by far the best horse you could find out there, n only 1200 dollars..lol miss ya bub <3

I was never any good at riding horses. my parents made me ride my grandparents horses. I didn't like the horse the always gave and he didn't like me. I got scratched off on a tree twice and bit once. He didn't get any apples from me from then on. I'll stick with motorcycles and just petting the horses. Count me out on riding them.

I think it's great that he can do it, but especially in the last half of the video it's obvious to me that the horse is irritated by him and doesen't like what he's doing to it.. And I don't see the purpose of the tricks either, other than him putting himself into at live threadning situation.. But I'm sure that lots of horses would wish that they had an owner that at least understood them as well as him. Ok video.. ;)

@sashamus I thought the purpose of the whole exercise was to make the horse feel as confortable and as used to his presence and dominance as possible, which I'm sure its quite useful for the rider and makes training and riding a more pleasant(or at least less stressful) experience for the horse.

AWESOME. There's wasn't a bit when the horse was brought down. On his back was cool!! under the legs is something I believe any well-treated horse would tolerate. Horses don't want to hurt anyone, they just get scared. I have seen toddlers on "unbroken" horse and nothing happens. I believe the horse respects "baby". Take the toddler off and put on an adult and the games begin.:) GREAT VIDEO, would love to learn your skills.

WOW that's amazing that the horse let him roll him onto his back, becuase that is where the horse is most vaunrable. Also horses can't stay in that postion for long because over the perssure on the interal organs.
