  • Another win for Sony and NOT microsoft

  • @hatestupidvideos wait what?

  • so do u have to close one eye when your playing or somthing

  • @fireflamez1000 - No, you get special glasses. One pair for each player. The one set has two "left eye" glasses, and the other two "right eye" glasses. So both eyes will see the same picture.

  • The gaming console would have to be programmed which would rmake the game more expensive, other than that, the glasses and TV exist already.

  • It uses circular polarization, just like 3D glasses. Regular 3D glasses would probably work since each lens is already designed to convert a circular polarization to a linear one that is specific to that lens. The TV is just a 3D TV essentially.

  • AWWW WTF MAN I HAVE LAZY EYE!!! NO COOL TECHNOLOGY FOR ME

  • I've got a 3d tv with this option, but i still dont know how to use it haha.

  • Sweet now my friend cant cheat anymore :)

  • sony came out with it first !!! to be more specific Playstation look up playstation display it is only 399 new at gamestop with a game and hdmi for those that do not own an hdmi cord

  • Wtf can the whole family watch different tv shows on the same screen with this kind of technology.....THE FUTURE BEHOLD !!!

  • That is actually really, really cool. And I hate 3d.

  • I have money , i bought two 51" 3D led tvs and put them on my wall over my fireplace. Problem?

  • @Claudioman2009

    POKER FACE

  • YOU DAWG I HERD U LIKE GAME SCREENS SO WE PUT A GAME SCREEN INTO YOUR GAME SCREEN SO THAT YOU CAN PLAY GAME IN THAT SCREEN WHILE YOUR FRIENDA PLAY GAME IN THAT SCREEN

  • Sony calls it SimulView and it is available on the Playstation 3D Display that you can get for 500$ including one pair of glasses, a 3D game and an HDMI cable.

  • wow ..technology

  • my tv uses simulview, it make it so split screen is the full screen, you see yours, the iponant

seea his, in the full screen.

  • RIP split-screen =(

  • THEY LIVE!

  • no screen cheating anymore

  • ITS FUCKING ASOME

  • that guy puts on his glasses over his sunglasses. hes too cool.

  • Comment removed

  • that is the only good thing about PS3 (other than a few other gimmicky features) that is why I have an Xbox 360

  • @TheChickenrun3 I agree 100%!!!!

  • @StocksyandFriendz gamertag?

  • @TheChickenrun3 KaSxLeGiTxKilla

  • Polarized light, who would have thought...

  • NO MORE PEEKING!!

  • @TheOwNTag EXACTLY!

  • and didnt no one even buy this bullshit is it me or is sony just so good at losing and wasting money on dumb shit

  • wii u can do that right out of the box -- ahaha 1 person gets tablet other gets the tv hahaha

  • guys this is real like the playstation 3d display

  • holy shit!! its all soo.... soo!!!... *mind explodes*

  • F-ing amazing!

  • my girlfriend can see tv and i can play!!!

  • @lasse99falden hey man even though you can't do that! (yet) that's a very cool idea now with turtle beach headsets hearing diferent things and those glasses seeing different things all on the same TV! Let's be partners and make inventions!!

  • @lasse99falden get a life fagget.....and a gf cuz i know ur lying

  • @lasse99falden

This is the answer to all my prairs !! Amen :)

  • OMG the expenses..!! t'is so expensive...!!

  • @MVJosuah124 - Not really, it can be build in by the manufactures of 3D TVs at almost no extra cost, and the passive glasses cost $20 or so...

  • @recordere Uumm.. The TV Costs almost 500 Bucks...

  • @MVJosuah124 - Well, this TV is a topmodel Cinema 16:9 TV from Philips. But you can get a normal LG TV for less. Look for their Dual Play option, its the same.

  • @recordere if 500 bucks it expensive for you to get an hd T.V. of any sort you probably shouldnt get one

  • @MVJosuah124 thats cheap i got my high end gaming pc for 500 bucks and this tv is new tech it will be made cheap

  • @recordere

Companies will find a way to overprice stuff which they normally do

  • @MVJosuah124 and nothing will support this special feature also why would you want to wear glasses that long

  • @AaronPr19 EVERYTHING with 3D that comes out from Sony will support it. This is part of their push for 3D and it compliments their marketing plans. Also, this isn't to make you a 3D gamer. It is just to allow the ones that already are to play the best split-screen ever invented, 3D and full screen.

  • Please tumb this up so people can really understand this thing:

I simply went into gamestop and this TV was on display, but the glasses you have to use have buttons on them (meaning they are electronic) and when you press the button, you see the opposite player's screen. Imagine playing a game like batman! where you can go into detective mode any time just by clicking the button on your glasses and seeing different things!

  • @SergeantCrunch - This setup used passive glasses.

  • Can I cheat and see where the other player is?

  • How do they work? Anyone?

  • @jerryhhh - Polarized glasses. When used for 3D the TV can create one image for the left eye, and another image for the right eye. If you then make a pair of glasses with left-eye glass only, and another pair with right eye glass only, its possible to send one 2D image til player 1 and another 2D image to player 2.

  • @recordere why no managed to do this before. The technology is not new

  • @OganMancarci - 3D is not a new technology, but you need 1) a 3D TV and 2) some electronics to handle and display the different inputs, in order to use it as a 2x 2D gaming universe as shown ny Philips here.

  • @recordere LOL your a genius!...you should make something like that and you can become the next bill gates!

  • @5swordmaster your a dumbass! what he stated is what is in the video!

damn are you ignorant and stupid!

  • @Mypc4you lol kid your an idiot have you ever heard of a word called "sarcasm"...ahh the lack of intellect of are kids of the present day is priceless...

  • @5swordmaster yes because sarcasm is as easy to dectect in text.

  • that pretty much made my day.

  • that's way sic

  • so each glasses gets its own view or do we watch both screens on each eye?

  • @caUSMCSemperFi - Yes, one pair of glasses get view 1, and another pair gets view 2 The two pair of glasses is then sold as a low cost gaming option.

  • No more screenpeeking woo!!

  • XBOX 360 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GAYSTATION 3

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 dude, even your name is wrong!

  • Your giving away your idea for free meanwhile sony takes your idea and makes millions!

  • poop

  • Now THAT is interesting.

  • que clase de brujeria es esto?!

  • @tyseven8

    @ADDONRACER

The point is that this uses 3d technology, where one player gets TWO left-eye lenses in ONE pair of glasses. Player two gets two right-eye lenses.

  • ok so your watching 2 screens with just 1 eye glases? pointless dude just pointless why would you want to see diffrent screens in each eye?

  • @TheGamerOfLeauge - No, the point is that player 1 get a pair of glasses fitted with left eye glasses only, and the other player get another pair of glasses fitted with of right eye glasses only.

This way the two players can game on the same screen, without seeing the other players screen.

  • @recordere i wanna buy that fkn TV!!!!

  • @recordere so the lenses are exchangeable?

  • @The1337nut - No, you buy two pair of gaming-glasses. One pair for gamer 1 and another pair for gamer 2. But since its passive 3D, the cost of a complete gaming option with two pair of glasses could be quite low. Maybe as low as $20 for a gaming kit for 2 players, but I dont know the excact cost.

  • @recordere

so instead of each eye blinking alternatively, instead they both blink at the same time right?

  • @xIAMDAVEx - Sort of, allthough its passive glasses. They do not blink, its a polarized filter like sunglasses or 3D in cinemas. But its not really 3D, its just the same technique thats used to create two different images (one for each eye) in 3D, here used to create two different sets of 2D images (one for each player/viewer) instead.

  • @recordere

o yeah ofcourse, what about that new sony ps brand tv? that would be active 3d tho. but passive is so much cheaper ha

  • @TheGamerOfLeauge if you want to use a 20inch screen and play with a friend on that one screen then you are a guy that likes to be butt fucked in life :P, good point though

  • @TheGamerOfLeauge what a dumbass -.-

  • @TheGamerOfLeauge

omg..u must be really dumb..lol. Peace.

  • @TheGamerOfLeauge YOU HAVE YOUR EYE BLINKED TO PLAY HAHA. if you wan t to pick you open your other eye :P Just joking, the used that set up of glasses just for showing to the public, the idea is to have the same polariization in the two glasses to see only your game

  • isnt it better to have 2 glasses instead. one for the 1 player and another one for the 2 player.

  • @tyseven8 I agree..how the fuck wanna play with 1 little glas!

  • @tyseven8 yup that´s the idea, they used different in each eye just to show how it works in the presentation

  • polaryzing to economize space, interesting...

  • playstation firts

  • they need this for X-Box 360

  • @12BlackGuitar Screw XBox! *floats up*

  • @12BlackGuitar Xbox 360 doesn't even support 3D

  • @LeonScottKiller they should start then

  • @12BlackGuitar Can't because Xbox 360 uses an ATI graphics card and there has never been an ATI card with 3D support (yet)

  • @LeonScottKiller Batman Arkham City for xbox360 is 3D compatible. Considering this is 10 hours ago and AC came out over a month ago, do a bit of google first...

  • @LeonScottKiller This has nothing to do with 3D in video game consoles, the TV uses its own 3D mode to show 2 2D images instead of 1 3D image.

  • @12BlackGuitar According to a Philips spokesperson, this works with any video game system connected on an HDMI-port, as long as a game has a split screen mode.

  • @81kingtut HOLY FUCK REALLY THANK YOU. YOU MADE MANY ASIAN JIZZED

  • i am getting it in 20 years!!!

  • THEGODEMPEROR SUCK MY DICK!!

  • Comment removed

  • WTF!? HOW?!!?!

  • finally no screen watching

  • thats awesome kinda want a ps3 so i dont have to split screen but would need a new tv at 120 hz

  • I actually posted this idea on that PlayStation Share site...where the fuck's my money?!?!?!?! lulz.....*luagh2cry* 8::(:..

  • can you play any multiplayer game on these screens like mw3

  • THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL

  • and here comes sony with the law suits

  • The passive method seems to work and is so much cheaper than Sony's method with the shutter glasses.

  • I'm guessing polarization via 3d

  • Ahh magic burn down the building

  • @hotd23me - No, Sony wasn't the first and is not the only one. Philips TV (as shown on the video here back in february 2011) are on the market now. Philips call the option Dual View Gaming. Newer LG 3D TV also supports it, they call it LG Dual Play.

  • It's called Simulview technology, the only tv to do it on market right now is a 24" playstation display sony just released this month

  • What the hell? I just got brain fucked...

  • is he a wizard.

  • i'll be selling this for free for just $1,999,999,999

  • that is soooo cooll sell it to mE NOW!!!!!

  • @AreYouTheFaiman its the same as the playstation 3d tv thats out

  • This is freaking awesome! Sony's 32" 3D HDTV is the way to go. 240hz too!

  • my question with the playstaion tv is will this work with all split screen games or just one's that will support the feature?

  • WAT THE HELL HOW WE E GOING 2 SUPPOSE 2 PLAY !!!

  • @edwinthebigman01 you need 1 pair of glasses whit 2 left eye glass

and 1 pair with 2 right eye

  • that very cool!

  • i just got mine today yehyeahh

  • i wonder if you can watch 2 different channels at the same time, while shes watching a chic flick you can watch sports!!

  • Amazing

  • no more sceenwaching

  • @spilburgHD unless you close one eye and open the other lol

  • @spilburgHD good point

  • wtf is this black magic??

  • Subtitles! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDdddd

  • It's not going to be like this when you buy it is going to be so one pair of glasses will see first players and another pair will see second players, I can't believe peeps can't think of that

  • You don't need headphones! You can use destrucutive interference!!!!

If you have 2 outputs of the same frequency, they will cause constructive and estructive interence - nodes and anti-nodes - places where it is louder and quieter.

It's a simple concept that will come into fruitation soon....

  • so ... which eye do I hv to cover when i play multiplayer ?

  • that will make things easyer to screen cheat

  • brilliant

  • thats the kinda sh*t I need

  • What sorcery is this?!

  • @DarkHypernova The only good use of 3d tvs :p

  • when i saw this i thoght it was fake but holy shit i guess thats what furture technology can give you

  • ooh jesus fuck me! thats epic!

  • **Forever Alone** since the potential 2nd player won't waste money just to get the 2nd glasses =/

  • Thats beast

  • WTF WTF WTF !!!!

  • WTF WTF WTF !!!!

  • It don't work for xbox... Ps exclusive

  • There are glasses that you can buy with buitl in MP3 player via microSD and in-ear speakers and bluetooth and FM Radio. Doh...perfect solution for ALL your needs including this one! Just link it via bluetooth to the device and let the soud go through the built in speaker/headphone on the glasses (and replace the lenses on the glasses) - SO MANY OTHER SOLUTIONS TOO - WHY ARE PEOPLE SO THICK - ITS F##KING 2011!

  • Check out 'soundbite' . Its an electronic tooth that lets you hear from inside your ear! No one else can hear BUT you!

  • SERIOUSLY - SOUND IS NOT A MAJOR OBSTACLE - There are several solutions ALREADY out there...and have been for some time...not just 'headphones'. Read my other comments people, dinosaurs and others...

  • is their anyways to channel a split screen so that you dont share the same screen on the ps3?

    like with out these glasses?

  • @jimbob202019 Hmmm..get a video-cable splitter plug into both the YPBPR1 and YPBPR2 Sockets on the TV and the other end into the PS3. Then select Split screen 2 Player mode on the PS3. Merge the YPBPR1 and YPBPR2 channels on the TV (Select the option for Dual Full Screen Gaming on the TV). On the YPBPR1 channel stretch the screen upward using the controls on the TV and on the YPBPR2 stretch the screen downward on the TV. Only possible using YPBPR because it is actually an Analog signal.
