  • I have always heard he hated her and that he called her "whore" in the filming of The Prince and the Showgirl.. maybe that it is why here she doesn't look too enthusiastic to be posing for the camera. Honestly, she doesn't look too happy to be next to him (except for the last shot) but he looks truly delighted to be cheek to cheek with Marilyn... maybe he hated and treated her like rubbish because he didn't want to be enchanted by a sex symbol who he considered a bad actress.
