Yes, this is possible. I have recently developed a new 360 degree simulator that will hold up to 8 riders. While I have not released this unit yet, I do have a prototype. Unfortunately for trade reasons I can not release much more information publicly. If you would like more information on this new design please email me spade_tight_529@yahoo.com
While this is a nice ride. Myself as the designer of the M-4, (the first simulator to go upside down) find that while hydraulic motion bases are nice, ease of access, and faster response times. A stable electrically driven unit will offer more degree of movement. For personal use, it is not worth it to purchase. I have been in this business for 16 years now. There is a unit I have built that would suit the "gamer" complete with controls, using Microsoft flight sim software, costing around 17k.
@M4SIM Is it possible to have them built with larger capacities, maybe four people? Every 360 degree simulator I've seen (MaxFlight, EntCo's Roll Cage...) has only two seats.
The bit at 2:54 where the bird is sat with a steering wheel is clearly total bullshit - the 'game' she is playing is clearly a ridefilm and she has no control over it.
people, I emailed the vid to the moton simulator company and asked them why the vid is not on the site. They said that they were getting too many incoms and emails on the simulators they sent and they just could'nt answer them all. Luckily they saw my email and posted back to me!
Motion looked a tad OTT for a racing game - I liked the fighter - marry it with FPV video onboard a T-Rex 600 with sensory feedback from the actual aircraft and you have something
Truth is, the simulator did not move toward the motion of the racing one. Actually when she was driving, she was playing a different game, I forget what, but it is pretty fun. By the way, when you saw the video of the racing game, it was not a game, it was a passive motion video, not active.

There should be a market for simulator games in that sort of price range (20k), just think of the potential quality.

We know that. Also after it shows the race car ridefilm and then shows them riding it, they were really looking at a dinosaur ridefilm.

My point exactly, if we all know that then what was the point in them adding it to the video.

But wait, think about it. You're in school that means you can learn to build your own and maybe a better one for your own house!

This may have been a maxflight motion simulator, a M-4 SX, or a (custom) monster roll cage.

Great video. When I have millions of dollars some day, I will donate most of it, but I'll save $90,000 to get one of these.
