Ma was elected by the Taiwanese people to look after their interests. Not the interests of the US or China... Nonetheless, they will try to manipulate him to serve their purposes. His strategy should be to play one off the other, to achieve maximum benefit for Taiwan... just like Zhuge Liang or Otto von Bismarck.
