Obviously this dude knows good hip hop. Would you rather see videos on youtube of some douche trying to fuck with Lil Wayne production garbage?

All the people that love REAL HIP HOP need to stand together.

  • Respect !

  • @djisgodgv Man you don't get it... these videos aren't about making original beats it's showing that to make a classic you don't need the latest computers and expensive software... to me it seems that it's 90% the material, 10% the equipment.

  • @djisgodgv "yeah ok fam.i have about 100 released tracks featuring HUGE names in hip hop.so yeah jog on"

OK... I'm happy for your success.

  • @djisgodgv If you really love hip hop and claim to be a dope beat maker, haven't you ever thought of dissecting how some of the hip hop classics, to learn from them? I've received the similar comments like yours, but they never had anything to show. I've posted over 50 video clips, and I still get this type of comments...

  • @jvcforce this is a way to build ya skill, don't mind the haters. Dope remake! Keep it up bro!

  • @jvcforce don't mind the haterz.

While most people are playing presets with their electribes, you're using it like an instrument, in the spirit of the artists who created the original.

In all crafts, a student learns by imitating the masters. Keep up the great work!

  • @jvcforce cause people are idiots man. Good job, you love real hip hop beats and it's a great thing.

  • Big respect for the remake! the Ckick sounds dope!

Need a little more reverb and skip to the snare Imo but still RESPECT!

  • where is that horn sample from whats the name of the original group? i have the sample of the beginning but not the horns im gunna remake this

  • bell'attrezzatura ;)

  • NICE!!

  • what equipment do you have to re-make these beats?

  • @MrAdamthebeast For this project, I used a record player, phono-amp, Korg Electribe ES-1 and two records (James Brown and Tom Scott record.) No fancy equipment was needed.

  • @jvcforce how much did that shit cost?

  • where are all da samples from...???song and artaits please

  • @beatzinmyhead

The Horns sample is from Tom Scott's cover of Jefferson Airplanes "Today" and features at 38 secs into the Tom Scott version! The bassline is the same Saxophone loop filtered and broke down in to string plucks!

and drums are what you make of them! Sample,Compress,Process,Combine! You can make a drum sound how you like the frequencies you work at really make a difference!!

    Good luck!

  • How much did all that cost? lol

  • Lol I like this u should check out mines it took bout 1 hour to make but I kept filtering it and stuff but u should really check it

  • @jvforce What is the 16 step sequencer on the electribe like? Does it make your groove too stiff, or is it limiting?

  • @4baz33 Good question. Actually, it is the best part of ES-1, it really helps to laid out ideas very quickly. Since this is sampler, you can change start point of each samples, so you can make the sequence less "stiff", so to speak. I sometimes wish that there are more pads (there are only 9 pads besides for slice samples) , but ES-1 is more capable than most of people would think. Thanks to SmartCard slot, it is easy to import WAV files from computer as well.

  • @jvcforce Thanks for the info, appreciate it!

  • @4baz33 Obviously XL is more capable than ES-1, but I like ES-1 as well, because it is a 16 step sequencer. If you are planning to do simple looping, ES-1 is great. ES-1 has internal flash memory, so you don't have to worry about losing data, and ES-1 is very small, and very easy to import & export data files to PC via memory card. It has more than 1 minute of sampling time in mono, long enough for me. ES-1 is definitely easier to use though.

  • Dat's how y'all sample a beat like dis.

  • Hey great little samlping kit this, eh?? I got one of these for next to nothing. Thing is, I dont really know how to do the samlping on it, Any chance you can take me throught it, in how to sample.? Cheers. Nice melody you have created.

  • Dope yo!

  • wooooow no red bar

  • it's not only amazing that u recreated the beat, but it's the equipment u are using. i dig it.

  • You're amazing!

  • Another gem! You're a master with that ES-1 :)

  • keep it up.

  • ES1 is back!! :)

  • I love this channel!
