  • does anyone knows how to mod it to true bypass?

  • ok

  • your reviews(?) are cool. i like you.

  • i'm buying this to use along side my boss dd-7. success.

  • is it good? does it make a lot of noise??

    thank you

  • BOUTIQUE!!!!! :p

  • cocaine..... ? right ?

  • you are on drogs!!!! dode.....!!!!!

  • and what about their the Flangers?

  • Is this pedal as heavy as a boss pedal (just an example) or something?

  • @MhStrat hell of a lot lighter

  • @VictorC53 Would you recommend on buying it?

  • @MhStrat fuck yeah, except their chorus pedals, they give off a bit of distortion, atleast the models i bought did

  • @MhStrat Yeah, those plastic Behringer pedals actually have a metal plate at the bottom to weigh them down. Otherwise they'd be as light as a feather.

  • @minedarea I also gives the pedal a little bit of rigidity. not much but more than plastic would.

  • D. Boon!!!!!

  • Last DD-400 I owned had literally no buffer - so if you switched it off, no sound would come through.

It also broke fairly quickly, after just 3 months of playing there was no sound at all anymore, whether I plugged in a power adapter or ran off the 9 volt battery.

For the price, it did a fairly good job at what it was supposed to do, though.

The problem with this pedal isn't that people are snobs - it's that in the music world, you get what you pay for, which is next to nothing in this case.

  • im having problems with my pedals. i did everything i was suppoesed to (i hope) and its as if there if no guitar. i just plug in my guitar to the amp and everything works fine. but when i plug in guitar into the pedal, then into the amp (with different cords) nothing works. am i doing something wrong?

  • @PapaDappla I have similar problems, but when things like that happen to me, they seem to resolve themselves. I'm no expert, but from my own experience, I use an acoustic/electric guitar, which can hardly be heard through pedals if the volume on the guitar itself is low, or if the battery is low.

  • Can you send the direct signal to one amp and a slightly delayed signal to another for a true stereo delay without any noticeable delay "effect?"

  • reel scary shit at 7:24

  • @THEGUYD0WNTHESTREET lol i do the same thing everyday.i own this pedal too ,i think pretty much my neighbours run when i do that ,even tough my sister told me that my guitar amp is satanic because you pretty much can put your guitar aside and its playing the same thing over and over again ,and this could be there playing all day long if you leave it that way lol..

  • @THEGUYD0WNTHESTREET

LOL... the feedback was at the top... that was the trouble, and he didn't knew that xD

    ¡The guy was going crazy!

  • I like your lil toes

  • i cant switch it of normaly. It flashes,i think it`s tap tempo mode, how to switch it of?some times it starts to sound like metronome, help please(

  • Couldnt you put on a sock? -.-

  • That effect sucks! I have one and it keeps turning on and off after a few seconds of playing. Whats the problem?

  • @KeTeVemCovers this may be a dumb question but i dont know how much of an idiot you are, did you check if the 9 volt is dying?

  • @KeTeVemCovers your battery. If it's plugged that not happen

  • @nuageuxthk My battery is plugged

  • @KeTeVemCovers No dude, i meant if you use a 9 volt battery, that could happen

coz is uncharged. So if you DONT use battery and instead use a adapter, that

    shouldn't ocurr

  • @nuageuxthk Aha, I'll try

  • did i listen correctly? is it made of plastic? are al behringer stompbox pedals made of plastic? in thier website's description only says "exceptionally rugged construction"

  • @8manuel Plastic is pretty rugged man, it takes 80 years to decompose! :D

  • @GallGael2 Maybe more, but it breaks easier than metal if you repeatedly step on it.

  • @8manuel This is true! haha The name "stomp-box" doesn't really apply does it :P

  • sexy led :D

  • Solo sirve para asustar?

  • dude what is creating that subtle alien effect your mic?

  • Cool review, boutique hahaha!

One of the sites claims that there is a loop sampler of a few seconds?

  • does the pedal require an exclusive power supply? or could i use a universal type of power supply?

  • @belatmo General rule of thumb is to use a 9v adaptor with at least the required ma [milliamperes] for the pedal, but having an adaptor that delivers more is not a bad idea either, nor is it bad for the pedal. It's not advised to use an adaptor that delivers LESS ma than required as you can fry your adaptor and/or the pedal. Hope this helps.

  • @AudileMusic thanks for the help!

  • Muy bueno!

  • ok everybody...i had used 2 pedal of this model..

its sound for me very cool..sometime for me cooler than boss delay...

but this model need to use very enough battery power or

suitable 9v adapter...not all 9v adapter in market match with this pedal...

so when idnt match u will hit the pedal like shit until broke...

  • nice git boi , courtney love is awesomee , she udes one

  • 1:02 L0L

  • I like it. I can do Tha Paul Gilbert tricks lol

  • i can't make my light stop blinking no matter what i do... it's stuck in tap tempo mode!

  • @deadline27 Do you run it on battery? :-?

  • @OttyMezin no, i ran it off of my powered pedalboard, but also tried battery.

  • @deadline27 Well...:-? I don't know what to make of it...I have a dd600, but I think they are similar...Mine has no problem...:-? When I was running it on battery, it would blink announcing me it has a low batery...but mine never blinks with a 9V power suply...I don't know what to say...

  • @OttyMezin i just went ahead and gave it to my friend because it was working, but the light would not stop blinking. i purchsed a boss dd-3 for 60 bucks on ebay to replace it. sad thing is, this is the 4th behringer pedal i have had just go crazy or stop working for no reason.

  • @OttyMezin don't get me wrong, i think this pedal sounds amazing when it's working.

  • @deadline27 I see your point...It's frustrating when you spend your money on something that later gets broken...I have 6 Behringer pedals, 5 of them I bought second hand...My Warp Distorsion has broken down after 2 days...It might be my fault...The Warp knob is broken...I think I might need to buy a new one...;))

  • the price new on these is baffling

  • I just ordered one of these and it looks like I invested wisely. great video!

  • gordo puto nerd no sabes ni hablar

  • should i get Behringer DD4600 Digital Delay Pedal or Behringer DD400 Digital Delay Pedal ?? its like around the same price, but which do u guys recomand?

  • Nice feet!

  • it completely change the tone ... it add a kind of chorus.... crap pedal

  • Somebody PLEASE tell me how to tap tempo

  • at 4:00 that reminded me of the song living deadbeat by children of bodom

  • pfff dont fkin bother, i bought one of these and the dr600 reverb and both have them broke in a few hourse kept turning on and off on there own, i agree they sound good when they work but better off gettin better qual pedal brand. Berhinger = pure shite

  • maby cuz the battery was low??? thats why it probably kept turning off

  • @vipershredder10 urm no lol you dont think i tryed that?? they really are poorly made, they both went in the bin were they belong

  • @lantyboy I have the same problem and now i am determened that i am never gonna buy behringer again

  • @TheBassguitarfreak I got the Mxr carbon copy pure awsome!! if you have'nt got another already.

  • @lantyboy OK THX for thge offer but mine works now (I sorted it out)

  • @TheBassguitarfreak lol its was'nt an offer, more of a recomendation no-ones gettin my mxr lol

  • Good night....

  • Personally.. I rather like Behringer kit.

I don't mind people being audio snobs.. it means you can pick them up super cheap on ebay..woohoo !!

I have this pedal too, My only gripe is that the led light is so bright that when it's turned on you can't see a bloody thing !! A nice little sticky circle of red electricians tape stuck over it does the trick :)

I still haven't sussed out the tap tempo bit yet though.

    Can anyone enlighten me please?

    Cheers

  • @SONGSTICKS

No worries.. I found another vid that showed it

  • guys actually this pedal sound good and cheap than boss

u must use new 9 volt battery.if the battery weak,it totally sucks the sound..

other behriner model such as ultra metal, even the weak battery doesnt disturb the sound.damm

if u use the adapter make sure the adapter supply enough power...

    how to check enough power>???

connect the adapter and u plug output and input with cable until u got permanent blue light...

  • haunting sound

  • hmm... interesting use of the hold function

  • How much this pedal?

  • @Kroniodeath I bought the Metal Trio which contains this pedal among the Super Metal and the Multi FX on amazon.com fro 100$. I believe this one is in the range of 35-40$

  • O.O I go buy it ! Thanks !

  • I just bought this, and seeing as I like a bit of distortion, this sucks ass :(

  • @FlamingIceCubez

    ... then buy a distortion O_o

  • @FaceyFaceFaceTV I have a distortion. I mean they don't sound good together >.< If you're going to buy a delay pedal then get a Boss DD, they're awesome :)

  • i dont understand, how do you use a battery with it, because it says you can but i dont see where

  • @addy360 Ive had pedals like that before, you take off the bottom of the pedal and put the battery inside, it gets to be a pain...but there is the 9v adapter

  • I bough that pedal just for the blue LED. The Led's color is beautiful.

  • Behringer stuff is junk made in China - it's cheap because it's cheap. Maybe OK for studio use, they won't last a month out on the road.

  • @moucon if u don't plan to throw it around and jump on it, it will be just fine.

  • @moucon Most Behringer stuff (pedals) are copies of Ibanez. Just with different name. It´s called private label.

  • @moucon i took one to america on the road insted of the boss pedaland it survived

  • @moucon behringer can last on the road why dou you think they came out with pedal boards . to protect your shitt or make your own like me and a homemade case to go with it ive had my dd 100 for 6yrs and it still works im getting a 400 soon or a 600 .just saying they can compete on the road

  • @moucon even the chips in boss pedals ipods and tube amps come from china

  • ok... blue led is sexy... mmm...

    xD

  • Thanks for this demo!

  • hey dude!

i tried the tap mode with mine - it works fine but now the LED keeps flashing like hell all the time - when its on AND when its off! do you had that problem too?

  • haha. i found that out too. the instructions, or the website don't tell you anything about the tap tempo.

  • boo-teek

  • These behringer, pedals are good because I want to buy me one of those by economic which are, but moreover they say is bad and a boss best buy me which this expensive

  • lmfao i love how you start of the video, "because they are snobs!" xD behringer pedals are great if you know how to use them. if people give you a hard time about using them, its because they could never figure out how to get it working.. damn snobs >.>

  • Х)

  • nice simple demo showing just what a cheap and chearful little delay can do

  • *boutique!* hahaha, love it, good review

  • strange music xD

  • habla menos

    toca mas

  • You're right, people are snobs. Plus on the internet people like to jump on bandwagons and hate for the sake of it, even without trying the stuff out themselves...

  • I have one and I hate it does that count?

  • cheers man, ive had this pedal a while and didnt know it had tap until i watched this

  • Look! It's Nick Frost, hehe!

  • @TheKeyoT: stfu n00b!!!

  • why on/batt led continue to blink??

i do not use a battery

  • @RobRock87 wat do u mean, if it is on batteries nd the led blonks than the batteries need to be changed, but if its a adoptor like mine than it should not blink.

  • Learn to spell

  • Dãã...

U've made yourself confused in the end

  • "they don't mention there is a tap tempo, and maybe they didn't know"

  • the problem is with Behringer stuff

if it breaks they won't sell you the part to fix it

i know people who have piles of active speakers and pedals

  • @terrytickler

Behringer sells speaker drivers and amp modules separately, they do not sell it directly to users, but your retailer can order one for you

  • can you tell me who can get the parts beacuse thier are alot repair tecks who love info

i know one guy who is using a powered speaker as a door stop beacuse begringer won't him the part he runs a pa shop

  • BOUTIQUUUUE! haha that made the video a 5 star by itself

  • do you recomend it

  • wtf??

  • About the tap tempo feature: I think Behringer just forgot to add it in, or they don't think it's significant enough to put in the sales description, because the DD-600 says Tempo right on it for a tempo input I'm guessing.

  • Good sound dd3 delay ?mmmm dd400 beringher jojojo empate

  • 0:03 Beringer, Behringer...Behriblahblah XDD

    0:59 BOUTIQUEEE

  • it has a blue LED which is sexy.. XD

  • bouuutique!!!

  • BOUTIQUE !!!

  • I like the pedal. It's cheap & good. Only complaint is that bright ass blue light. I can't see shit when I'm adjusting the knobs

  • I like the blue, but yeah, it's WAY too bright.

  • you are awesome and irish im buying this pedal

  • Comment removed

  • ummm, hes not irish idiot.

  • @slideon He's Geordie

  • Irish??? Geordie you spoon.

  • Nice blue led light, would make a good torch to read comics under the duvet

  • gordo foroo

  • Reminds me of the good old sim city days (y) im gonna buy it not the best but its cheap and will do the job its only a delay pedal!!

  • does any one know if this unit can get

    the dotted eigth notes.

  • any delay can if you set it right

  • you talk a lot

  • what is the top right wire u connected to the delay?

  • That's the power supply

  • power supply

  • Quit waving around in our face dude and get rocking!! Hee Hee... ;pO"And sound off like U got a Pair Private" "Im giving her all she's got Captain",..Without the Dilitheum Crystals I can't guarantee she'll hold!!

  • pretty nasty playing but this delay sounds o.k, might risk the 20 quid

  • hablaas demasiadooo ... talk so muuch

  • cool

  • how do u get dotted eighths on this?

  • LOL damn you know i dont know whether to get this or the EM600

  • If u think this makes weird noises, listen to the Behringer Echo Machine, lol

  • I own about 20 pedals and behringer do make some great copies. This sounds like it might do the same job as it's more expensive counterpart. :) Well done, funny humour too even if its not intentional :)

  • nó que pé feio....kkkkkkk

    kkkk, that horible foot...urgh

  • Thats a lot for this mate, You've convinced me to buy this instead of the Boss DD3 :) Saved me some coin!

  • are you sure? Behringer pedal destroy your tone when you're not using an effect...

  • Well i'll be using it in conjunction with my multi effects pedal so it should be ok,

I ended up buying the DD600 in the end, for the extra money it was worth the much better features

  • what are the extra features?

  • The DD600 has a longer recording time for the loop feature, only 2 seconds, but a step up from the DD400 which is only about a second.

It also has a much longer delay time, and feedback, or sustain you may call it, the delay replays for much longer on the DD600

I've used the DD600 quite a few times now and i've found that although it is quite reliable and does exactly what it says on the tin, it's not best to use it standalone, Its best used as part of a rig with other fx pedals.

  • whats the diference between this and the dd600 ?? I dont no which to get ?

  • hey man nice!you northern man?? thanks for the vid.

  • Awesome dude, your reviews have convinced me just to get this over the Boss pedals. Loved your video on the behringer durability test, hilarious! cheers

  • hey nice play of guitar very nice good pedal friend

  • nice playin, nice guitar,

but god, you look like that guy from hot fuzz movie!

  • I love how the music gets so dark when the foot comes to screen xD

Yep. I think imgunna get this pedal

Saludos!

  • Hey someone cloud help me?! I bought this pedal today, but when I conect to the supply and the cable, it turn on, but it has a non-stop blinking light! When I switch of the pedal, the blinking light is still there. May be the power supply (9v 400ma)? Sorry about my english, I'm from Argentina. Cheers!

  • You need to change the battery

  • Hey endegrade, I'm from Brazil and i have a DD400 too, I think it's normal, cause my DD400 do the same think about the light....
