In this book Irving relied on a document called "Tagesbefehl 47" which showed that the death roll in Dresden was ten times the actual number, about 250,000.
Subsequently the original was discovered and it was seen that the numbers in TB47 had been altered by adding a zero to the end each number, probably at the Nazi propaganda ministry.

I don't know about Elie Wiesel but Irving has been proven to have falsified and distorted evidence (mostly historical documents) systematically throughout his career.
Any statement written by Irvin is potentially a falsification, because the reader has no way of knowing (without comparing to original documents) which of his statements are accurate and which are bogus.

i couldn't beleive such a lie was possible, so i visited aushfitz myself after having seen One Third of the Holocaust. the "gaz chamber" is clearly a bunker, the stinking chimney is not even connected to it ! the door open in the inside, it's not air tight sealed, there's clear mark of walls, mark of a bathroom, even a man hole going under it looking suspiciously like a cellar ... the most horrible thing is, whatever happend in those camps, the lies make it possible to happen again !

The ONLY building in the entire Auschwitz facility that had ANY Prussian Blue Zyklon-B residue was in a small building that even the so-called "Holocaust Historians" admit was used for delousing clothes and bedding. It was used so often that the Prussian Blue staining bled through the masonry and is visible from the outside. Explain the complete lack of any staining in ANY of the "gas chambers".

@slckb0y After they were dead, the water was drained out, then camp workers were sent in to remove the bodies. This all happened as the trainload of new arrivals were unloaded. They never knew what everyone else in the camps knew, that the "showers" were gas chambers. My neighbor was in the Belgium underground, if you're really Belgian, you would know the birth certificate trick. He was caught after 2 1/2 years in the Belgian underground. He left the concentration camp weighing 97 pounds!
@BrotherBrio There is no physical, forensic or photographic evidence of gas chambers or gassing in the camps. Cremation of bodies in these camps would have taken massive amounts of fuel and many years to accomplish. Fuel was in short supply for Germany the last few years of the war. The supposed gas chambers were proven to be false and cremating bodies bodies was done on a very small scale.

@DaveSauerkraut It doesn't really matter what a historian says because they can only draw conclusions from what they have obtained. Not to mention that the Nazi's tried to hide almost everything to do with the prison camps (can't remember why exactly, have to look it up, but it probably was for social/politcal reasons). Someone that just came out of the camp however was probably threatened or heard about gas chambers, and could easily retell the horror of people when told they were going there.

In this book Irving relied on a document called "Tagesbefehl 47" which showed that the death roll in Dresden was ten times the actual number, about 250,000.
Subsequently the original was discovered and it was seen that the numbers in TB47 had been altered by adding a zero to the end each number, probably at the Nazi propaganda ministry.

Only if they are tricked into it, in this case being told it was a shower and toilet facility. The Nazis documented what they were doing. They were sprayed with water, then the Zyklon-B tablets were dropped through a hole in the roof (into standing water),

The ONLY building in the entire Auschwitz facility that had ANY Prussian Blue Zyklon-B residue was in a small building that even the so-called "Holocaust Historians" admit was used for delousing clothes and bedding. It was used so often that the Prussian Blue staining bled through the masonry and is visible from the outside. Explain the complete lack of any staining in ANY of the "gas chambers".

@slckb0y After they were dead, the water was drained out, then camp workers were sent in to remove the bodies. This all happened as the trainload of new arrivals were unloaded. They never knew what everyone else in the camps knew, that the "showers" were gas chambers. My neighbor was in the Belgium underground, if you're really Belgian, you would know the birth certificate trick. He was caught after 2 1/2 years in the Belgian underground. He left the concentration camp weighing 97 pounds!

Cremation of bodies in these camps would have taken massive amounts of fuel and many years to accomplish. Fuel was in short supply for Germany the last few years of the war. The supposed gas chambers were proven to be false and cremating bodies bodies was done on a very small scale.

@DaveSauerkraut It doesn't really matter what a historian says because they can only draw conclusions from what they have obtained. Not to mention that the Nazi's tried to hide almost everything to do with the prison camps (can't remember why exactly, have to look it up, but it probably was for social/politcal reasons). Someone that just came out of the camp however was probably threatened or heard about gas chambers, and could easily retell the horror of people when told they were going there.

In May, 1943, Himmler spoke in German on audio at Ponzan Poland to his own SS, on what was going on with the Jews and Exterminations. @SuperVondi The Israeli Military is quite powerful, and much more then assumed. Ever see DogFights. One great episode there about a Israeli Jet that takes out several Syrian ones. Interesting story. Israel is not considered a terrorist state, but Hamas is a known terrorist group, and it resides in Palestine. This is why there will always be conflict there. Hamas uses Palestine to strike back. SO ... the innocent pay. Same in all wars.. civilians make up the bulk of the dead in the end.

Why read into comments and stats, when even after the war the amount of dead had to be estimated.How would you estimate body counts after a World War,when the majority of deaths are civilian? Even with Auschwitz; most of the killing was outside of the camp. Did you google Ponzan, Himmler? It seems the hate for Jewish overshadow common sense in reading into WW2 history.Germany admitted to the holocaust to this day, and it certainly does not benefit them, does it?

@mooners40 I live in the word of facts, not theories, nor am I waiting for the "easter bunny." If I want to read into WW2 history, I read into the time it took place, and the men who fought it. If a book is going to be produced by someone who didn't live in that time, they would have to get facts from those that lived when that history occured. What you are attempting to do is pass on rhetoric, after the fact, from those who have no point of reference (conspiracy). Read history, dont make it up.
