  • Wow!!! Powerful!!!

  • Yes - she was wrong. But he is also wrong and rude. She is standing with a friend. I would NOT have a problem with that. I think both the woman and the man need a pair of those "Get Service" glasses.

  • @LeElHa so you wouldn't have any problem if you are in a line for let's say 30 minutes and someone that has just arrived goes in front of you? yeah sure :|

  • @SiliconPowerII Believe what you want to believe. I believe that how I respond is my choice. I chose not to waste anger on a stranger, particularly when no one there really has any way of knowing what might be going on in that person's life.

  • @LeElHa After waiting 30 minutes in a bank im sure anyone would react in the same way...

  • @SiliconPowerII Like I said, believe what you want to believe. But until you have walked by my side, spent a day with me, don't presume to tell me what I would feel or what I would do.

  • Wow this video is about courtesy and manners and most of the comments contain none of those xD

  • I love this video! Thank you for posting it!

  • No, rude would've been to drop her like a bag of dirt.

  • Its about common sense and common courtesy.Cas closed.

  • Its all perspective people...I think thats the point...is that everyone has their perspective.

  • Actually, this vid is a scene from one of my favorite TV shows, "Dead Like" me. I've seen it both in and out of context of the episode, but it holds together either way. The woman was rude, the character Mandy Pantinkin played never held for rudeness or snobbery. He knew (he was a supervisor over "grim reapers") what was going on in each person's life in that building. He also knew her issues weren't pressing enough to warrant her inconveniencing people who had been in line for some time.

  • Well then, good luck, good-bye and may God be with you.

  • Haha!! Friggin' great stuff here.

  • After watching "Get Serviced:

"Hmmmm....this is pretty good , too.!

    Haha

  • So what's worse? Selfish people who cut in front of others, or rude self-appointed scolders, or silent onlookers who approve of verbal abuse. I wish I could have learned something other than bad behavior in this vid. because I think the intention might have been good.

  • "rude self appointed scolders" ? why is he rude? because he put the woman in her place? he was anything but rude.he very politely told her to get in the back of the line.how is that being rude? u must be someone who would do what the woman did.

  • No I wouldn't. But I also don't tell people off because I think I'm faultless and need to point out their faults. Hopefully you would say the same about yourself.

  • Yeh melanieprice,as a matter of fact I think you are the actual woman in the video. The guy or anyone in the line had the right to deal with her the way he did. This woman, probably you, fired the first shot. These people all have things to do and are minding there own business waiting in line. Can you imagine if we all acted as shameful as this woman did?How did you get out of 2nd grade?

  • Actually how did you become the perfect self-appointed God of the universe?

  • People like you are the reason people like Hitler gained so much power...you know the actions are wrong but you won't say anything against it. You call the guy a self appointed scolder, yet he's only sticking up for his rights and the rights of everyone else that lady just walked all over. He didn't claim to be perfect, and no one here debating you has either, we're just claiming to know right from wrong and not afraid to make someone obey natural common laws of nature.

  • And you think scolding me is your right too? My point.

  • My right? Of course it's my RIGHT to say anything I want...Humans have the right to free speech, even if that speech is found by some to be offensive. Also, your interpreting my post as "scolding" is a bit far fetched...I was simply continuing the debate of right vs. wrong. It's NOT wrong to tell someone that they're wrong, and demanding that justice be served by preserving the rights of ones self and his fellow citizens. You could argue thought that it's wrong NOT to do so.

  • Melanieprice, You responded to this video and in essence "scolded" me if thats the word you want to use.Thats what happens in any forum.People make comments about a subject and others react to their comments.Thats how this work. The woman in this video was 100% wrong. If she chooses to have no respect for anyone else well then why should the man in the video have any respect for her.She fired the first shot and deserved what happened. I bet she never cuts in line again!

  • As I said to the other gentleman, good-bye, good-luck and may God be with you.

  • Ok...ill probably c u in the front of the line at the motor vehicle dept.

  • Well said!

  • whats worse ? the person who initiate the selfish behavior! the guy just put her in her place ...at he back of the line where she belonged.he didnt hit her..he didnt even raise his voice.u r not too smart r u?

  • I agree with LAChaplain if the lady is doing something wrong that doesn't give the right to the other guy to be an ass and make look her bad in front of all the bank. For me everyone clapping it was just to make her feel very small and in some sort of way to humillate her (one just can't humillate somebody for one sole mistake of moral civism). Actually this vid, in my opinion, is the extreme opposite of Get Service. I didn't like this vid.

  • the lady brought this on herself.she was screwing everyone in line saying my issues are bigger and more important than all of yours.they all clapped because they felt vindicated.this lady was put in her place.she INITIATED her own humiliation.these people were quietly minding their own business being respectful of each other waiting their turn and this thoughtless, selfish lady if thats what u want to call her just cuts in front of them!she deserved the ovation!maybe she wont do it again!

  • Just out of curiosity: how SHOULD he have done it, then?

  • As our country continues to blast away at its own foundation, you will find that "common courtesy" becomes less and less common.

  • wierd how everybody claps at the end, its like they approve of his actions. sad thoughwe congradulate others for making a stand even though we don't do it ourselves. lol i even feel kinda sorry for that lady-ish. she had it coming. cool vid.

  • Are there some people who are self absorbed and rudely cut in line? Yes. But there are also people who have genuine challenges before them and there are many who could care less. Is everyone in the line facing equally challenging deadlines? No. The woman was wrong but I don't particularly like the guy either.

  • if you have something THAT important, you could ASK if someone minded you getting infront of them...the guy could have done with out the ass hole comment sure but aside from that he was totally within his rights and even civility to do what he did.

  • maxines17, stop replying to people's comments...just read them and don't bother to reply because it is a big waste of time...trust me;) the clip is great, thank you!

  • take that ya dumb bitch.the worst is the mexi-fool who "cant speak english" so he wonders 2 da front and starts talkin in broken english.

  • this isn't made to mock get service or anything else... it's just a clip from the tv show Dead Like Me

  • i understand that but this video shows how rude people with problems should be dealt with.everyone has problems, trials and tribulations.i have them too.that doesnt give me the right to cut in line or slime someone out of a parking space or just walk around like im the only one alive.

  • no need to defend yourself. you've repeated yourself enough. relax. it's a damn tv show.

  • no shit.i know what it is.however a point is made in the damn show.

  • who knew a man named Mandy could be so AWESOME! My name is Inego Montoya!!!

  • i just dont get it ( what does it have to do with the "get service" video

  • it has everything to do with it.its saying we all have problems and yours is no bigger than anyone elses so lets all respect each other.just because you have a problem that doesnt give you he right to slime other people who also may be suffering from a problem.

  • well said.....

  • ???????

  • so what u r saying is that the slimeballs who cut in line have to take responsibility for their own actions.they sinned and YOU need to stop making excuses for them.YOU just said it.take responsiblity for your own actions!stop making excuses and feeling sorry for these people.they have to take responsibility for what they have done.YOU said it!look at your last post!u dont have to be religious to understand this.treat people the way u want to be treated.thats the message.

  • ok they didnt sin first of all, second EVERYBODY has problems. we already know that. all this video does is sort of mock get service. so just stop alright?

  • what r u talking about?r u stupid? stop? thats my point...everyone has problems so dont make yours bigger than anyone elses.everyone should realize this and have common courtesy for everyone.case closed!get a clue...if thats possible.

  • get a clue nance! deal with reality.please....come back to us!

  • i agree, that guy was rude

  • why dont u post my video on your forum?afraid too many people would agree with it?

  • why do you persistently arduously labor against the truth of God weaving webs of lies and deception?

  • u r getting stranger and stranger.why do u persist on weaving your line of bullshit.does god give permission to these idiots to slime others? i dont think so.i could easily live my life as these slimeballs do because i have the same types of problems.however like many other people i choose to respect other people reguardless of my problems.i had a friend committ suicide not too long ago but that didnt give me a free pass to screw others.u just dont understand COMMON SENSE.

  • God does not give permission for anyone to act rude regardless of the situation. that being said, people will act this way when facing life issues. but that does not give me or you the right to reciprocate that negativity back to them. God wants us to show love regardless

  • once again u r contradicting yourself.understand first who fired the first bullet.those people firing first are the ones you should be targeting as being rude...not the ones reacting to the rudeness.

  • rude is rude. you cannot appeal to common sense because sense is not common. nothing in this world makes sense, only God does. but since listening to Him is uncommon, i guess i'll use uncommon sense.

1 Thessalonians 5:15 "See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people."

James 4:17 "Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin."

  • what we see hear is that it's not our responsibility for what other people do; our only responsibility is for our own actions. if i (or you) act rude then i (or you) sin; i (or you) are at fault; i (or you) are the "slimeball" in that situation

  • Amen...but you may be 'casting your pearls before swine'...

  • the guy didn't repay evil with evil, he told the lady she was wrong...nothing evil about that, as for your second verse...that one actually contradicts your point in that the guy DID know the right thing to do ( help preserve everyone's rights) and did so...

  • you say that God does not give permission for people to be rude, well, apart from rude apparently being a relative term in this case, since many of us don't find what he did as rude, I can only assume that Jesus taking a whip to the money changers in the temple would be seen as rude by you as well...perhaps even evil?
