I gotta tell you, im not crazy about the color or styling direction you took the bike, but its your bike not mine. I do appreciate all the work you put into ressurecting a true icon of motorcycling legend, I should have never sold my 91.....but I do pick up my 09 on friday!!!!
whats up dude! the max sounds mean! gleason would be proud, maybe he could do a burn outall the way to 5th gear. are your fingers gettin longer! holla back!
The part of this video, starting with the lasers, was the grand debut of the Vmax at an industry trade show, 1985, at MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas. Rider is Jay "PeeWee" Gleason (Don't call him PeeWee anymore!). He also rode the burnout in the parking lot the next day, also on the video. Not long after this debut, Jay rode Vmax into the 9s on the quarter mile, making the Vmax the world's quickest & fastest production motorcycle.
The Vmax intro was at MGM Grand Hotel. Vmax ridden by Jay Gleason. I am a good friend of his. I have his video reel, and I have most of that particular industrial video on VHS. I have up-res'd it to digital. Still pretty rough looking, because it is from 23 year old VHS tape. Am in progress on digitizing all his video performances and getting them posted on here.

I like the classic video from 2:28s onwards of the Vmax intro to the public.... Wonder where I can get the full video?

You might have seen it on the Vmax Forum or VMOA. I have the Hayabusa USD installed now...check those boards for pics.
Engine is getting painted this winter as soon as I get over my second hand surgery.
Peace

Beginning reminds me of the part in Terminator after arnolds body has been torn off and only the mechanical body remained.
