you can catch both ho-ho and lugia in either game but depending on what game you get well determine which legendary you can catch before facing the 8th gym and elite four

ok so you can get totodile cyndaquil or chikorita...can you catch or face any of the other starters like torterra and charizard in these games?

you can get charmander bulbasuar and squirtle...i dont think any others

no you can't catch any of the starters but you can get one of the kanto starter after you get all 16 badges and defeat trainer red, also you can get one of the hoenn starters after deating trainer red

The good thing about this game is you can trade as soon as you get pokedex with no restrictions to what pokemon you can trade
