@CRschralper Wouldnt 93 have been on high alert since both towers had already been hit before they been hijacked? Even passengers received phone calls from family telling them of the twin tower attacks.
There was a message going out to all aircraft through the ACARS system, but the message had not yet arrived to United 93. The cockpit door was always unlocked back in those days, so it was very easy to get in.
Passengers did not receive any alerts from family members on that flight. They only time they had contact with family was after it was hijacked.

No use your common sense. The planes alone weigh in excess of 900,000 lbs. now add in the weight of passengers, fuel, luggage, the speed at which they were traveling (open throttle). The WTC had no chance. The combination of structure failure, burning fuel, no sprinkler system (it was knocked out in the strike).

@CRschralper - I think you watch too many movies. They were faced with armed men and they gave into their demands. This has happened literally hundreds of times and they had no idea the planes would be flown into buildings. There are now new guidelines and cockpits are always locked.

There was a message going out to all aircraft through the ACARS system, but the message had not yet arrived to United 93. The cockpit door was always unlocked back in those days, so it was very easy to get in.
Passengers did not receive any alerts from family members on that flight. They only time they had contact with family was after it was hijacked.

What the govt should do is train the pilots and flight attendants in Martial Arts or Aikido so they can defend themselves when and if these situations arise again.
The pilots were easily over powered because all they know is to fly the plane but no knowledge in self-defense. Just my 2 cents.

No use your common sense. The planes alone weigh in excess of 900,000 lbs. now add in the weight of passengers, fuel, luggage, the speed at which they were traveling (open throttle). The WTC had no chance. The combination of structure failure, burning fuel, no sprinkler system (it was knocked out in the strike).

Building 7 fell because it had to deal with that intial shockwave, then WTC 2 falling then WTC 1 falling. Don't forget Building 7 was also showered with debris from the initial impacts. That more buildings didn't go down was more luck.

1. If the Hamburg Cell, led by Mohamed Atta, never boarded their train to go to Checnya to fight the Russians, they would never have been approached and told to go to Afghanistan to train to fight America

However, don't give them even a partial victory in the form of saying you don't care which is true. There is no historical justice in calling their deaths by the wrong name. To take away the name "murderer" from the 19 hijackers and replace it with "conspiratorial American agent", even in hopes of honoring the dead as the priority, you dishonor them.

@clairesaysMEOWW they did not die for no reason, that is obvious.. the reason is that one way or another there was foul play at hand,, .. some people feel so strongly that these innocent people were dealt an injustice that they want to know who murdered them,, to honour the dead.
Regardless of whether there was a conspiracy on 9/11 it is a greater tragedy that tens of thousands of innocents have been murdered by US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan when neither had anything to do with 9/11.
