The rifle was a Ripley XL made in Derbyshire in Ripley by a man named Steve top air guns think it's a .22 cal 300 bar can be tuned up to 40 ft pounds.

I have a Beeman model 1337 also called the RS2. It comes with TWO barrels, a .177, and a .22. You just loosen a screw, slide the old barrel out and slide the new one in and tighten the screw. It is a break-barrel and has a 4X32 scope and fiber optic open sights. The .22 fires at 800 fps, and the .177 at 1,000 fps. It cocks with about 30 pounds pressure. I have killed squirrels with BOTH barrels at about 30 yards, and they both do a great job.

I'm in the Southeast US, in the State of Tennessee. I have an 80 acre farm where I hunt rabbits and squirrels for food with an air rifle, and coyotes for skins with a crossbow. The limit in my state is 10 squirrels a day, and 5 rabbits a day. Coyotes have NO limit and can be killed year-round. Squirrels ARE delicious! Cook them the same way you would Rabbits.

Thats an XL9 Ripley air rifle. Superb accuracy and that silencer is one of the quietest you can buy considering how loud the sound actually is without it. From the sound in this vid the rifle is tuned higher than 12ft lbs.

Great hunting vid and hope you enjoy every bite of those meaty critters. I hunt in Florida on Wild Life Mangment Areas and only once in a blue moon do I see such an abundance of rabbits like in your vid. Around Green Swamp and Croom which are WLMA you'll see squirrels lagore. For any of you dummy's that comment while your eating a #erd meal this area is riddled with rabbits and needed to be thinned out, and another thing when the animals are hit they have involuntary nerve spasms like a chicken

.25's are illegal in the UK if you do not have a fire arms licence, it's only 177 or 22. i have hunted many rabbits in the UK with my pre-charged .177 air rifle, they are more accurate and can easily kill rabbits, small game, ect..

@xDD1322 my guess is the benjamin marauder .22 or .25 I doubht it could be a .177 as the caliber is too small for the kind of game he is hunting, atleast in my opinion.

@apisjparguello me doubths, a .177 is more likely to wound then kill an animal in the size of a rabbit. even if you use steel core the pellet it may just penetrate the animal leaving the animal badly wounded and suffering which is not ideal for hunting, you want a fast clean kill and for the size of rabbits I think that minimum the bullet needs to be .22 but that is my opinion =) also the meat of the animal has better consistensy and taste better if it dies quickly and with out stress.

@Dechthem if the muzzle energy is at least 10ftlbs or more you will kill a rabbit as easy with an head shot in .177 as you will .22 the only thing you have to think about is the .177 going straight through at close range. and the trajectory is flatter than that of a .22 pellet. and the pellets can be lead not steel to do the same kill...
