  • i love this car haha

  • the engine on the 2007-present Nissan Sentra

    Engine

    2.0 L MR20DE I4

    2.5 L QR25DE I4

  • I want a Nissan Sentra so bad:)

  • I just got a Sentra last month......its a 2008 Nissan Sentra.......and its drives great......but on the rear I've noticed that it doesnt have the model # on the rear right side........whats the difference between a regular Sentra and a Sentra 2.0S?

  • @bluer68 Sounds like a 2 litre sport model

  • Nissan all the way for me. Reliable and Durable.

  • Ok be straight with me, this is a girl car isnt it?

  • @kelly2charmin Unless you're a guy who wants mpg. Yes. Yes it is.

  • the 2007-present Nissan Sentra is assembled in

    Aguascalientes, Mexico

    Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines

  • Sentra has a soft suspension?... my basic 2009 Sentra has a very hard suspension in the front and it gives a very harsh ride in the city. Am I the only one with this problem?

  • @eltorito89

I driven the base model of the Sentra as well and its consider soft to most cars thats aim to be more sporty. Its soft enough to be comparable to my Audi. So either that your driving thru roads that needs immediate repairing or your back is made of tofu or something lol.

  • @toyujohnson

The streets in Mexico are not in very good conditions but I think that either there is a difference between the suspension in the Sentras sold in Mexico, or the suspension is hard on all Sentras and Kelly is wrong. I took my car to review and they say it is ok. I asked other Sentra owners and they say they get a harsh ride too. I also checked Edmund's review on the Sentra and it also says the suspension is hard ... so it is hard or my back is made of tofu after all.... lol

  • @eltorito89

I guess i got so use to harsh sporty ride from my BMW that i thought sentra was soft. In addition you are driving in Mexico so I guess I can sympathize you with harsh ride. I driven a rental Mustang down there and I literally went back to the rental place and got a new car.

  • plz this made in japan

  • And they say new care are more efficient. My 1992 sentra 1.6 gets 35 mpg at 80 mph, and that new one gets low 30's?

  • My mom has one with 170000 miles on it. She drives it hard too, I was expecting the CVT to go out by now, (other manufacture's have a high failure rate) but it's still pumping. The only complaint is it eats tires, it may just be ours though.

  • I have a Sentra but I am now confused on weather its an S or an SL??? Mines has an intelligent key, bluetooth, and keyless entry. However, it does not have leather seats and XM Radio. Another thing, I have 16 inch wheels but how do I know whether they are alloy or steel??? They are rims not cups that cover the wheels...???

  • @GMasis001 In Canada if you have Intelligent Key but no leather, it's the 2.0S trim with the optional Luxury package. US packaging I'm not 100% on.

  • i think the tail-lights of the car look a little like a Toyota Prius.. just an opinion...

  • @linkinparkadik i agree with u on that. but i think the headlights on the sentra look almost the same as the altma

  • i think the rear end of the car look a little like a Toyota Prius.. just an opinion...

  • It would be cool to have the 5 door version as well.

  • Fully loaded but leather 2.0SL is $16.5k

Not too bad when 2011 Elantra Limited wont go any lower than $21k

    Who's Laughing now?

  • the sentra is for older except the se-r

  • I wasn't basing any fact about civics from my grandparents, you were arrogantly saying "show me a civic with over 250k on it." Not only is that a stubborn thing to say, but I gave you a link to a site that statistically and factually proved you wrong. You are running away from the conversation merely because you finally understand that you are wrong. You are just a Sentra fanboy, for fucks sake, its not like I even said it was a BAD car, its good. YOU are the one who sees what you want to see.

  • @dagrome I knew this would get ugly. Now your just arguing for the sake of arguing.(and with profanity too. oh wow)

  • @v10moped And yet you respond, disregard everything I say, and end up saying something completely irrelevant. It was you who started the argument, kept it going even against the substantial evidence that you were wrong, and then enabled it with your statements that ended up having nothing to do with anything except with the idea behind the argument itself. Yes, I will stop talking now, merely because you can't come up with any reasonable basis of support for your side of the argument.

  • @dagrome you again? I dont have time to read your essay. I already respectfully backed off because I dont need to sink this low. Now I have to block you. sorry.

  • @dagrome @ v10moped I enjoyed reading your guys' arguements. Every youtuber thinks they're an expert; you always think your opinion matters more than everyone else's (especially low-lifes who go on Nissan videos and bash others with their Honda opinions) Your attempt to sound articulate is pathetic. Arguing on the internet is like the Special Olympics, you are still a retard even when you win.

  • @Hurvduperv Standing by as the reasonable bystander is always an easy way to sound smart. In the end you give no insightful remarks. The internet is a tool for communication, get over yourself.

  • @dagrome alright you win.

  • I just got a sentra saturday and I love it! :))

  • Who the HELL cares about RESALE value. Its a damn good practical car!

Sentra's are know to last years and miles beyond Civics!!

  • @v10moped they don't outlast civics, but the sentras are still great cars

  • @dagrome Sentras DO outlast civics. I owned both. My Nissan has 215k miles without any major problems. My 180k civic had 180k and cant even drive without stalling, and rattles. Maybe you are talking about the newer models.

  • @v10moped Just because your personal experience with a Civic wasn't AS good as the Sentra, doesn't mean that, that carries over to everyone else. Overall Civics last longer than most consumer compact sedans, trailing slightly behind the Corolla. All of this could change of course with new models from different Companies like Chevy's Cruze, Ford's 2012 Focus, etc. But you can't simply generalize everything from your experience.

  • @dagrome Civics appear to last long because they are so abundant. Replacement its parts are easy to acquire thus making it appear to last. Show me a Civic with even 250k on it and I'll show a Sentra with 300k.

  • @v10moped The old people I know as my grandparents happen to have a civic with 290k and still running strong. Explain to me why Civics have a higher resale value than the Sentra, if Sentras are as good as you say they are? I'll answer for you... because while the Sentra is a great car it is not as long lasting and RELIABLE as the Civic. If you don't believe go to any car website at all and compare the two. I'd start with Edmunds.com

  • @dagrome I already did my research thank you. you ask me not to speak from personal experience (like you are with your grandparents). I'll admit the Civic has higher sales, resale values. and some parts are better than those of Sentra. BUT YOU, on the other hand, will only hear what you want to hear SO I wont argue with you any further, for its pointless. All I can say is do your research too.

  • is this to much for a 1st car?

  • @muiscnight Nope not at all its acculy a nice car to have

  • well i must of got the lemon cause at 15000 miles and 1 year old tie rods went out. got it fixed and a week later popping stated coming again every time i turn so after this sentra im done with nissan. every one i had has all been a crappy car

  • I Like This Car

  • They covered a lot of the basics, but some of the stuff they were saying was a bit misleading... I would figure for a company that deals with cars, they'd be meticulous as far as details were concerned.

The review was decent, but could definitely be better and more accurate.

  • i've had a 1994 nissan sentra and got it up to 255,000 miles on the original stock set-up. no major repairs. only simple oil changes, tires, brake pads the basic stuff.

and i got myself a new 2008 2.0 nissan sentra and the legacy still shines :D

  • I own a '10 Sentra SR and I couldn't be more happy with it! Great mpg, comfortable ride, tons of head room (I'm 6'3), and plenty of safety features that make me feel safe. The review is correct in how the Sentra isn't a performance car. If you want one of those, go buy a Camaro or Mustang. Nissan did a great job with the new Sentra!

  • haha my daddy bought me this to prove he loves me

  • I bought a 2010 Nissan Sentra SR about a week ago ... and it is the best investment I've done in a long time ... It is str8 to the point, the stock radio sounds nice, good MPG about 24/36 ... also the power steering and the braking are awesome, I do recommend it, no questions about it!!

  • Whoever buys one of these has no taste whatsoever

  • My sister just got a Sentra. It is well put together!

  • i drive an 07 sentra...its amazing! i love it!

  • im going to buy 1 im probably getting the 2010/2011 sentra 2.0 L i love tyhis car especially gold seats and its great fuel efficent engine, if u are reading this can u tell me its fuel effiency

  • I just got a 2010 Nissan Sentra SL last weekend and LOVE it. It was a last minute decision and i'm not disappointed: leather seats, intelligent key, iPod connectivity with screen, XM radio, bluetooth, CVT transmission, moon roof, heated seats. I didn't really need the last two, but the car was on the lot and we were able to knock about $1800 off the tag :D.

  • i have 1 question they are saying its only good for a few years is that true

  • @feetlover149 I'm not sure about the Sentra since I just got mine last week. But I've owned a 1999 Nissan Maxima since it was new, and it still looks amazing to this day. As long as you maintain it, I don't see why it wouldn't last you.

  • the dash is the most simple i've seen no fancy crap just str8 to the point love it

  • Went to Honda,Toyota and Nissan Dealers to compare the Civic,Corolla and Sentra.I found the Sentra was superior in every way to the other 2 cars,It`s more comfortable, powerful and smooth.

I was a Toyota corolla and H civic`s User; From now on I`ll stay with Nissan:They`re simply the Best.

  • I just rented this car. I'm unbiased and I drive an Infinity. But this car was amazing. The drive is comparable to 30-40K dollar cars and very solid on corners, the interior was adequate as well. I was even going 100mph and it was very stable and wanted to go more. I was very impressed.

  • To some people this is one of the forgotten cars and especially not to mention the Nissan Xterra and GMC Canyon.

  • ii love mine too ..i have a 2008 with Nissan Bluetooth, smart key, 340 watt stereo...sunroof....etc... LOVE IT!!

  • i love mine 2 i have a 2007 2.0S

  • my dad just bought one of these i dont know how i feel about it yet

  • da design reminds me of infiniti G

  • Also TSB on Cold Coolant Temp check light during winter months. Need to leave light on and take to dealer for reprogramming. Covered under warranty.

  • at 4:03 the fucking cd says sentra. haha

  • great car. peoples car

  • esse carro e lindo mas e copia do ford fusion

  • Corolla's design is a little bit lexus,the headlights,the grill ( almost same ),the L shapes

  • its weird dat in Indonesia compact cars r called medium size cars.Maybe its becoz most Indonesians r short

  • i got this sentra my second to own, and my wife fall in love on it , she dump me on here old toyota camry , nissan better and cheap today. very good car for the price.

  • yea,toyota's not great value anymore !

  • @disordermate nissan builds better cars than toyota

  • looks like a prius. I got it on forza 2 and its quite good

  • Sentra is nice looking car too... Somehow i keep thinking of infiniti models... The front lights are looks familiar or similar to G series in infiniti ~

  • Then y do we see more old Civics on the road then old sentras? Now that I think about I don't see any old sentras on the road.

  • da new Sentra is better.Nissan had gone popular these days.Toyota sux.All toyota dat i've owned like my 2008 corolla r bad !

  • I'd buy one over a Civic or Corolla because its a bit less popular than those two but just as reliable and even resale value is good.

  • corolla is not comfortable.I own it.bad handling as well, just go Nissan or Honda

  • I drive this car an 08'. It is awesome and really enjoy everything about it. It looks small but has lots of room.

  • Is it the Spec-V? or just the regular sentra

  • this is the regular Sentra. At 1:30 they mention the other two Sentras.

  • i do notice a lot of mexican people drive this car...is that why they have the option to switch the driver information system to spanish?

  • I think the car is manufactured in Mexico thats why.

  • you are right it is assembled here in mexico, specifically in aguascalientes

  • Hey, I wrote about this on your wall!
