Doesnt I think that American Eagle and American Connection should merge it would make a lot of sense, the only problem about that is that AE is owned by AA and Republic is operation as American Connection.
Why do you wanna work for Republic? Second worst pay for the metal to BlowJets. Plus, they are about to lose ALL their code shares after having bought Frontier. They are gonna be going the Independence Air route, which means they will probably go out of business. ALPA may suck but Teamsters is WAY WAY WAY worse.
LearJetJock: Every regional airline is guilty of flying larger and larger equiptment. Skywest, ASA, Comair, Mesa, Mesaba, Pinnacle, Horizon, ect., all have some pretty big aircraft. To catagorize RAH as something different is unjust and unprofessional. Also, understand that a RJA is "RECIPROCAL."
I'm certain the commuters at your airline don't appreciate you acting as some sort of vigilante on behalf of you own belief system.
@djgeea RAH is the only regional flying as a mainline carrier with a regional contract though. So, you are correct that regionals are flying large jets but right now RAH is the worst offender. I wouldnt be suprised if Skywest jumps on this badwagon as well in the near future. I don't think they are hoarding cash for no reason at all. They see somthing coming. They need a pilot union at Skywest though too. Those guys will be the mint in the airline urinal if my guesses come true I think.

This is my Republic! I have been with this company for a year and a half and in that time I have seen many changes, some for bad and some for good, but when one door closes here... two doors open! Great company!
I was a 8 year veteran with that company and I can saw it's all a fraud !!! They don't preach any of the values they speak of AND a Frontier Airbus is not part of Republic....at least yet !!!
