I really HATE to admit this.....ok......i HATED Annete's guts when i first saw her and i didn't like her sound in Nightwish, so i refrained from listening to their newest staff and stuck with their old music. I just saw this live and uhm.....i 'like' her. I don't know if there is something wrong with me, or if i am going to listen to their newest stuff now, but for one moment in time, here in this live i LIKE her.....urg...and now i can crawl out of here.......
She's pure energy, lively and beautiful. She has improved, indeed. The start was slow and probably painful, but they keep growing, even when they have years as a band. I love them, and I will defend Nightwish.... and Anette no matter what. ♥
@mikkolaxz She says "kiva, kivempi, kives" which translates to "nice, nicer, testicles". Nicest would in proper finnish be "kivoin" but as Anette is swedish she does a little intended mistake and says "kives" which means testicles.

They have changed their style, but they have done this through many albums without having a change of members, as have many other bands. They are still Nightwish, different but something totally in congruent to the original. Perhaps you so not like their sound as much without Tarja; that is an honest opinion. But this band is still nightwish for millions of fans and will stay that way.

Anette is cute. I love her dancing XD and her voice is beautiful. And if you really want to complain about how Tarja is better, then listen to her songs from her solo career. Don't hate on Anette because she's different. She is great :)

@Sun2strider She first says thank you, then when she says that she'll continue her finnish lessons she says "kiva, kivempi, kives" which means "nice, nicer, testicle" (the joke here is that the superlative of "nice"="kiva" is really "kivoin") and later she apologizes. I was there :)

@fluffy363 I agree with you. I don't even think the new "Nightwish" is all bad - but its just not the same band anymore. Not even close. Totally different style. They can not even perform their old songs... so why use the old name? Simple answer is: Because it makes money. And that is something i totally disagree with. Let Nightwish die with honor and found a new band with new name and i might become a fan. But not of this "so called nightwish" - i just refuse to.

@mdsnrf Maybe because the man behind the music is still the one and the same Toumas. They have changed their style, but they have done this through many albums without having a change of members, as have many other bands. They are still Nightwish, different but something totally in congruent to the original. Perhaps you so not like their sound as much without Tarja; that is an honest opinion. But this band is still nightwish for millions of fans and will stay that way.

@fluffy363 She should have stayed? It was her misconduct that forced the band to kick her out. Marco and the rest of nightwish have stayed silent over the details clearly out of a sense of decency because they are both private and sensitive.
