the first time i went on this i was nine and i was forced to sit on the far end on the left. i was pretty nervous the whole way through, especially in the boat house, but when we got to the pier i thought the ride was over. when the shark came up right next to me i screamed so loud. it was one of the most scary experiences of my life.

looks like an okay ride.. if it needs to be replaced, try to replace it with something based on an action or adventure flick that is family-friendly. I'm sure Universal can think of examples. Replacement with another water oriented ride is probably a good idea.

There is the newish Simpsons ride and the Mummy ride at US and now you can have Butterbeer and all the Harry Potter that you can take at Islands of Adventure. As far as I know, Jaws still remains part of the backlot tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. In April you can see the new parts of Fantasy Land at The Magic Kingdom, WDW Florida. Enjoy :)
