  • Would it beneficial to place solar panels on the hood and roof? Charging the batteries on the go, on a sunny day?

  • How can it be 100mpg. You are only getting 50 mpg and an extra 13 miles. Doesn't that equate to 63 miles per gallon? I walk 70 miles. Can you convert my human energy to mpg.

  • @heartlessvietboy It's the MPG you get per tank of fuel not per battery charge! The battery can be plugged in multiple times per tank of fuel. Some get up to 170 mpg with the same set-up.

  • Dont get me wrong. 63 mpg is three times better than any regular gasoline car. Hybrids are awesome, especially Plug-in Hybrids. But they need to stop presenting fake information. Thats a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle, not an electric vehicle.

  • Very cool and I'd love to convert my Prius to get 100 mpg

  • You can, but it would cost you money. Why don't you trade in your Toyota Prius for a Chevrolet Volt PHEV with on-board gas generator??
