  • very admirable

  • please then Richard come to England to stay with my husband and I would love to have you to stay as have always thought you were great since I was 10 and I thought you were 22 but it turns out you were older than that in Dr Kildare!

  • RICHARD, TO SAY TO THIS WORLD, I WILL BE THE ONE INDIVIDUAL WHO DENIES THAT YOU ARE GAY. MY WHOLE LIFE STORY SHOWS ME THE SPLENDID NATURE AND CANDID PROPORTIONATE LOVING GUIDE IN THIS LIFE THAT YOU ARE. WISH YOU WERE MINE SECRET ADMIRESS....SHE'S THE DUBURGERACH

  • first movie i saw starring Richard Chamberlain was Casanova....i still remember every moment of that movie....i loved the man ,and i still do :)

  • Dear Richard. I grew up watching you swash buckle in a curly wig with a bible under your arm and have loved your dashing honesty ever since. It is truly lovely to see you so happy and even more wonderful to see how your love infects everyone else. You are one of the great actors and I will always cherish your work and your person. Many thanks. Charlotte.

  • OMG! Is that Dr. Kildare?

  • he looks better in the 3, 4 and the retyrn of the musketeers!!

  • how old is he now?he is still very handsone!

  • @lulitanaka He should be 77 soon.

  • @chukvari thank you very much!

  • He'd b a better person if he didn't deliberately transgress Leviticus 20:13

  • oooo man I love you so much

  • Este actor sigue estando tan guapo como antes por el no pasan los años, añoro mucho la serie El Pajaro Espino, besos y abrazos desde Guayaquil - Ecuador

  • Richard looks great in everything he does.

  • oh richard..love you so *-*

  • such a brilliant man..

  • Still so gorgeous! Richard was my first crush when I was thirteen. You never forget your first love!

  • @rachienicks He was also my first crush at 13 when he was in the slipper and the rose. I couldn't take my eyes off him on the screen. He still makes my heart skip a beat after 29 years.

  • @lynnypinny40 Same here, even in his 70s'. *Giggle*

  • My favorite actor !!!!

  • What an amazing person !

  • What a sexy guy. He's still as handsome as ever. He must eat healthy and exercise. The guy doesn't age.

  • Thank you very much for interview! It was very interesting to listen Richard.

I adore all his roles , especially - Ralpf in "The Thorn Birds".

  • What a wonderful spiritual comment!

It is really about the universal essence of love that is our fuel for a fullfilled life (even in sequences of pain and hurt, which is actually driving us toward love, too - seen from a higher view of course).

Spoken from a beautiful man it is even more mmmmmmmmmh! ;-)

Yes, he radiates... and that is good for all people, even for those who cannot feel it.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • beautiful words.

  • how lucky for those who have met this great man, he must be a very inspiring person! and yes, even through a video, we can see how he radiates. Boy, I'd like to take a leaf out of his book!

  • If all gays were like him and kept their lives personal, no one would be worried about the issue.

What a stupid and unreflected comment!

  • What a judgmental and ignorant response! I keep my heterosexuality to myself. What's personal is personal. You obviously feel defined by deviance. I don't !

  • @Episode675

He's a very talented actor and seems to be a gentleman. His personal life is his own business and being a celebrity, his life is naturally public.

His personal life does not hurt anyone else. I'm not a pro-gay advocate but I'm not one to judge other people's lifestyles.

  • @FAITHandLOGIC You're not a "pro gay advocate"?? Gee...who gives a shit? Guess what? gays, nor anyone, do not need your approval.

  • @truecancer Who crapped in your cornflakes this morning?

  • @FAITHandLOGIC If you just knew how irritating your statement sounds...if you are human, you should be an advocate of all other humans being able to love each other without prejudice and abuse. Straight people take their freedom to love for granted, a luxury we (gays) don't have. Seriously, think about what you said and how insulting it can sound.

  • @truecancer Seriously, look at the 5 "thumbs up" my comment has and consider that maybe your problem is YOU and not me. Seems pretty apparent to me that you're the only one with the problem. I said I'm not one to judge and instead of focusing on who/what I was responding to, you focus on something else that you took the wrong way.

If you're pissed off and looking for an argument, find it somewhere else. I was having a good day until you came around.

  • @FAITHandLOGIC ... why aren't you a 'pro-gay advocate?' i don't understand why it has to be wrong to be gay.

  • I agree.

  • Wah? So gay celebrities are supposed to keep their lifes personal and take care not to annoy anyone if they feel like turning up with their partner at an event holding and or something or talking about it in an interview? If someone wants to keep everything personal, fine. If not, just as fine. Everyone should have the choice, no matter of homo- or heterosexual.

  • if you ask me, there is so far only one deseving the title "sexiest man alive" -

he is so smart, such a decent man, i always thought he is british, and, asi always supposed, he is not a 100%-queen, more a bi-olgist

  • @MoveOverCasanova no is an American and lived in West Alemeda, Burbank, California if you read your papers right in the 1960s/

  • he's still so beautiful!!

  • A truly great actor and a great,great man.Thank you for everything!

  • Richard Chamberlaine, epitome of a true *star*! Your heart shines pure and from the days of Dr Kildare I have loved your persona. Over the years, following your career the one amazing aspect of "you" is the goodness you radiate. Watching you brings such joy, even in Hawaii when you were enjoying your day like any of us do I could feel the love of life radiated in your smile. I wanted so much to say hello but thought I would just enjoy your smile. Thanks for sharing your talent and your smile.

  • @MegB143 I am a fan of Louise Hay and also my taichi teacher Dr Keith Jeffrey and I have recently found out alot about this universe and how important love and happiness and our thoughts are and have connected with great films like Fried Green Tomatoes,Little Women 1933 and The Thornbirds which all are associated with the 1930s in some way and at the moment with the world economic crisis we need love and a community spirit more than money and it is similar to the stories of these films.

  • it would be so fantastic if we all thought like that from the start or if we were taught to have those views as children rather than to have to go to the ordeal and, as mr chamberlain says, 'getting at it late in life'

    mmmm... maybe one day?

    xx

  • i didn't know he was so wise and so lovely and so happy

i'm happy for him and for us

    :-)

  • Father Ralph! I had such a crush on this man when I was little. I love The Thorn Birds.

  • I'm so glad the interviewer, Roberta, commented on the joy Richard radiates! I've met him in person (and Martin) and both of these special gentlemen radiate such genuine joy and kindness....these are two very sweet, very good souls.

Love Richard's answer....."well, I'm not THAT rich!" Maybe not MONETARILY the richest star, but certainly rich beyond measure in character & talent.....also immensely rich with loyal fans who after 40 yrs, still love & respect him immeasurably....

  • One more thing: Chamberlain you have a very comforting, assuring, warm attitute. Wish I knew you in person; it would be great to have a conversation with you about anything at all. Many people could benefit from your therapist a great deal. Warm wishes to a continuing great life and career always!! Bless!

  • I love him! I love his work - and so does my mom who is 80. What a great personality!! When he mentioned about tears to his eyes, I've sensed his emotion, and I had tears in MY eyes. CHAMBERLAIN, if you ever read this message here on YouTube, pls know that I Thank you so very much for The Count of Monte Cristo, Thorn Birds, and so many others. GOD BLESS YOU!! Your companion is a very lucky person to be part of your life. Keep up your great work !! Bless you always!

  • i saw him the other day! Amazing! Love this show!

  • Thanks for posting! I have loved Richard since I was a pre-teen and he did The Thorn Birds.

  • I just saw Spamalot in Huntsville, Alabama - TWICE! I took my daughter, too, both times. We got home from the show Wed night and got right online and bought tickets for Fri night - it was that good! Hilarious! We got seats at the far right of Row B for the second time we saw it - I was just 2 rows straight in front of the person who got to go onstage. I wanted it to be me! I am a huge RC fan! He looked so good just as he does in this interview. What a beautiful person - inside and out!

  • I SAW SAMALOT LAST NIGHT!

MY MOM SO Mad when called one men up, when they found the grail under his chair, to the stage. She screamed for she loves him! I never knew of him still I saw the play I LOVE HIM TOO! NOW!
