I've heard several of Margaret Wilson's records (including some unreleased sides) and it is a shame- she could barely sing. Notice how the music has to sink to a whisper under her. Her personal life was a bit more interesting. In the 1930's she entered the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry India where she stayed for the rest of her life.
One final note... I believe the continual denial of God in our country will only lead to the continual destruction of our country... just like the eventual destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The forth stanza of our National Anthem is just one more example of proof that most early American settlers had faith in GOD and the words of the fourth stanza (written by Francis Scott Key as a poem in 1814) led to the Congressional adoption of our National motto on our currency in 1956.
May God bless you and yours for your posting of this video. : )
Francis Scott Key had been dead for quite some time when 1956 rolled out. The incident you're referring to came about as a result of the Red Scare of the Fifties --a shameful moment in our nation 's history.

I can't thank you enough for sharing this priceless American history audio archive.
Most Americans, including myself, have been exposed to revisionist history efforts in some form or another in our educational system and/or society.
I'm sick and tired of hearing some people say that the U.S. was not founded on Judeo/Christian principles... enough...
