I don't believe you're being genuine, but surely you know respiration is part of a closed system - we eat plants and other means of drawing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and then return it to that atmosphere - it goes around. Whereas burning fossil fuels adds to that closed system, thereby causing problems as we're seeing.
