you do not need a mic , you would only need one if you want to record your voice .

but you can use music like mp3s and such to make gestures

I made my 1st gesture. I'm trying 2make another one but when I hit the RECORD I just keep hearing the 1st one I made. Is there a way to delete the first one or record over it if I want to? How do I make a gestures after the first one? Help me erase the 1st one please. Thank you.

After you save your first one.. there should be a small tiny x on the top left side of that sound file.. click that and it will close that one. or you can go to the top and start a new stream.

When you save these files from the program.. you have to go to where it says export as WAV...

under the file tab.

if you do not it will not upload in secondlife. =D

It has to at the most 9.9 seconds long.

NO sadly you can not save or export sound from secondlife to your computer drive.

true but i found a way.

on xstreet they sell this thing that allows you to back up all your inventory just in case sl servers decide to delete your stuff. which has happened before, just not to me luckily ^_^

but yea i got an app for my droid and i did what u told me to do on sl, just to record them by speaker, its sounds nice.

You do need a mic if you want to record your voice or whatever you want to say. but if you download other wave files to use for gesture you will not have to need a mic
