You don't need all this crap to deer hunt. Do you think your grandfathers had all this stuff with them?

All you need, aside from the license of course, is a rifle that you can shoot well, a strong body and a pack with some basic supplies.

You can always tell the nOObs in camp because they have bought all this crap and are so loaded down they can't hike in more than a mile.

yes you can as long as it has a certain sized projectile because if its a AR15 .223 its basically torturer to the deer. i suggest a 30-30 lever action there fairly cheap. but what do i know im only 13 and shot my first deer last season but i passed hunters safety no less than a year ago.

My dad used an AR15 for a while. Was all he had. He had to track every deer he shot with that gun, lol. By the way, I'm 13 too. YOUNG HUNTERS UNITE!!

that would all depend on your states laws. especially when dealing with caliber. some states dont allow rifles for hunting, or only allow them in certain parts of their state. New York is one example.
