Where you tuning or something. . .? (At the beginning?) Or is that a part of the song? Anyhow, you have amazing playing and the sound is pure. (I don't see the music stand either. Memorized?)
i played this piece in college on piano...its hard as hell!! well, its hard when you are trying to stay true to the proper speed...of course you can always slow it down to make it easier but that's not what Bach would want!
What do you mean? I'm just not really into the music of Bach, or even Mozart. I suppose it's ultimately because I can't play it that well. I fail horribly at Mozart's Concerto in G Major. I just .. trust me, it's really awful.
But whatever Kyle plays, he makes it sound like it was written just for him.
I'm going to assume though I may be wrong that the background character(the pianist) is the same throughout all his videos and that she is his teacher?
His accompanist is Jean, a wonderful pianist and great friend. Jean loves a challenge and seems to truly enjoy working with Kyle. We all get along famously and she has educated both of us greatly with her considerable knowledge of music. She's not his teacher, though.
Oh ok. You know it's funny(not really) how my email is slow and i got the message saying someone replied to your comment 5 hours(literally) after the fact. :P
It seems you played strong enough that your tone stayed point on while trying to be as delicate as possible in the beginning. I especially love the way you included flavor throughout the entire piece though.
What a lovely, flowing, performance of the Menuet with such gentle tonguing and just the right amount of ornamentation. And how refreshing to hear the Badinerie played so beautifully, as if it is MUSIC rather than a race to get to the end in the fastest time. And what a very lovely tone you have.
I believe (as does my son) that there is something positive to indicate in each and every performance. It is important to convey that belief in our comments always - as well as here at YouTube. Your comments, sir, are consistently kind and generous for each and every performer (okay, I stalked you a little =D). As for my son and I, we strive to be as gracious as you are. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
i dont like the interpretation sry.

No sweat, dude. 14, huh? You sound older and much more sophisticated than the average 14-year-old, I think. You know your stuff!

I get that some. But yeah i'm a nerd but not an unpopular one.
